Hehe interesting technique I never thought of doing it that way! I was able to get gold using MT, everything else default. But yes you're right it is very hard that way. There is some time to be gained by not launching the car at full rpm. I was gaining a little by waiting for the count down, and then going full throttle to launch the car around 4500 RPM. This is bit quicker than launching the car at redline.
Quite nice, good way to increase friction. You can do it with the handbrake as well, though it's a bit less precise.
Smidge of advice to tack on, ABS basically keeps your tires from locking up during breaking, so if you turn it off (for this challenge or otherwise) if you pump the breaks just before the tires lock, instead of just holding them down, you'll break better.
Also, you can get better 1st gear acceleration out of this car if you pump the accelerator when the rear tires lose grip.
Did it with the normal approach just hit the timer 0.04 under the gold time (happy)
@ mikadri : These vid's are very helpfull and 604g1k is obviously a great driver in the licence tests, so take his hints & tips for granted and maybe you'll will get the cold medals.....
Some license tests are indeed frustating and hard to get on gold but keep practising and you'll get the hang off it.
Hmm..,I´m on 26.716 now with normal braking.I dont know what to believe about this video.Why did´nt you let us see the the time you got,but only a black screen?
@mikadri I can't change how the replay ends. If you have saved replays, try playing it in the Replay Theatre and you will know what I'm talking about. If you think this video is fake then fine. If you have some knowledge on the game you can see that when I'm almost completely stopped that time is still 0:24.xxx. Don't dislike my video just because you can't get gold and follow instructions.
This Gold took me well over 30 tries with the recommended approach. You needed to hard brake, of course, and have your back wheel resting on the line. It's a ridiculous task. I think optimal time for braking was at 20.45? I hated it. I never tried this, though. If only I had known ....

Turning OFF ABS did the trick for me, I was able to get 0,05 seconds under Gold within the first try. Thank you.
