Awesome! I just bought a 250. I have 500 miles on it. I want to take it out to the track to get me into sport racing, is a 250 a good bike to learn on to develop track skills? At some point I do anticipate upgrading to a 600cc bike, mostly b/c I love freeway riding :/ . Not a huge fan of the 650r... despite comfort advantage. I have a stupid Q, is learning to shift weight to on turns to where your knee is close to touching the track hard to loearn??? Yes as you can tell, I'm a noob.
@freespadersuggs nah it's easy, it's all about good posture. don't worry about the knee yet...all that will come soon enough. just focus on good technique.
try and get a copy of keith code's " twist of the wrist "
Just sayin, this was like my first track day ever, body positioning was terrible, flow was terrible, lines were terrible. I'm racing the ninja now at Chuckwalla with the CVMA series, doing much better :)

@l8er if u r trying to learn how to put ur knee down watch YouTube videos. Just search how to get your knee down. He is probably not pushing the bike right when he puts his knee to the left he pushes the left handle bar to make the bike lean and it's body posture I think
@l8er he puts his knees down on the side he is leaning the bike. If his knee is hanging over to the left that means he is also pushing on the left handle bar to make the bike lean further to the left. Vis versa
Good video. You should work on keeping your outside knee pressed into the tank (when you turn you stick out both knees :) ), and try to get your torso further inside the bike.
@JLindenwood I think the only problem of his technique is the knees not attached to the tank, but I'm not the Expert (Keith Code , Twist of the Wrist 2), everyone can learn a LOT with him :), I just found this, that's why I crashed before xD(lack of knowledge) xD my sweet ninja :D
yo what is your tire and what size is it? thanks!

squarecnix 1 year ago
@squarecnix i think he was feathering the rear brake to tighten his line as the track is narrow and has multiple hairpins
