Thanks a bunch - don't have CD - but could just e-mail- it's free- hmm- never thought of doing that one, there's also a racier version about "meeting a girl in a bar" that history shouldn't forget about -the "Politically Correct" crowd has squashed it out of Basic Traininig-
IM a newly enlisted private and its good to know that im not the only one that still remembers those good SOB's that taught me how to be a soldier D 2-81 Fort knox all the way every day
I was at Ft. Bragg about a week ago and the Old 2-505 Barracks were still there. I was headed on up to Michigan and I figured I would stop to say hello to the few people back from Iraq. I got out as an E5 a couple years ago.
2/505 - they're a bit south of us right now - we're based out near the 3 bct hq - out with the 319th most of the time -but i get down to 505 from time to time - - we lived in those old division barracks from december to april - I couldn't bitch, there was an LTC in the bunk next to me - i heard they just bulldozed 'em right after we left - who knows - thanks for the note - dave
Hahahahahahahaha....that sucks....I know right where you're talking about too. Past Longstreet and way out in the middle of nowhere by the SFAS barracks.
well, we were there about a week ago - hopefully when we get back they'll all be bulldozed under and those new barracks will be in - the downside is that clearing new barracks can be a bitch - as you know
oddly enough, I wouldn't know where ardennes was until recently - despite wearing a 16th MP Bde Combat patch - never been to bragg till recently - now i'm a "little farther east"
that's if yer active and live in those nice new buildings (just kiddn) - my 3 long months there were in "old division" - those condemned buildings with 80 guys per -
hey drill thanx this brings back alot of good memories mainly memories of runnin till i puked and still kept goin cause drills like u wouldnt let us quit thanx for the memories! HOOAH!
Semper fi, sir! No bullshit, this was really cool. I've actually heard most of those cadences and it was fun to hear them in this context. I actually told a bunch of my fellow jarheads about this. Keep on keepin' on.
