Just one remark; The Neue Wache memorial at 06:00 does not only remember to the victims of the holocaust, it remembers to all victims of the nazi tyranny.

Neath the poignant statue (this is an enlarged statue copy created by the famous german artist Käthe Kollwitz, who lost her 17 years old son on the battlefields of WW I) "Mother with her dead son" are buried an unknown german soldier from the battlefields of WW 2 and a victim of a concentration camp.

I'm going to Berlin next march for a school trip, already been to Berlin last June-July, but I enjoyed it so much, I thought, why not? I think Berlin is amazing and am looking forward too it :D plus I forgot to try some Bratwurst last time, so this will be my second chance :P

Berlin is not a "beautiful" as I though it would be...I imagined it to be something like my hometown of Paris...you know....monuments every block, beautiful architecture and such, I still love Germany though, awesome country !!!!! (My fav. town in Germany is still Munich) >.>

gr8 video sir,ive been visiting Berlin since 1964 and i cant wait to visit again as the last time i was there was 26 yrs ago so it will all be new to me since the wall came down etc. ihad friends on both sides of the wall and used to visit them.glad its gone now. interesting video thank you i enjoyed it.iwill visit berlin in November cant wait

i'm gonna spend a summer in berlin eventually. if i like it enough, i'm gonna move there. i've lived in texas for the past 11 years...the scenery's getting kinda old

You will have such an amazing time in Berlin. My favourite European city. I would also love to visit Texas :)

yeah, texas is cool. pretty hot though. when we first moved here in 1999, we were having a year-long drought. imagine the temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day and no rain.

have you ever been to america? the only foreign countries i've been to are japan and mexico. texas is huge. it takes all day to drive from one end to the other

Yes I love visiting the States. Been about seven times. Been to Hawaii, NYC, MIami, San Fran, New England and Washington DC :)

wow, i've never even been to those states...except miami. i was born there. i've been to almost every state except for the new england states, new york, and hawaii.

My favourites are Washington DC and NYC. Very different cities but both awesome.

but you get used to it. also, in texas, you learn to appreciate snow. it only snows a little bit once or twice a year and when it does, it's less than an inch and it melts quickly. but this year, we had our biggest snowfall in 30 years (7 inches). yeah...that probably won't happen again. the winter's are relatively nice...at least compared to england. you can walk out in short sleeves in december.

I'm a hug Berlin Fan and whenever I see this video...the sun, the light in Berlin (did u recognize the sun and the lights shine differently in Berlin thn elsewhere?) the sights...I want to sit in the next train to Berlin and stay forever. Perhaps you could explain why that nearly each an every building had some sort of statue on the top as though you were being watched or they were ready to attack at any givin time. Never had a burrito with chocolate mole (mo-lay) sauce.  Usually love any food w/ chocolate though, except some bugs covered with it that I couldn't bring myself to try :) Great tour of Berlin; liked all the historic trivia that you explained.
