Then it wouldn't be timesplitters. It needs to be cartoony. Crysis is great, but i dont want FPS clones. No super cool tactical weapons. Or deep story. I want Cortez to be as bad ass and irresponsible as he was in Future perfect. I would hate to see a character like Cortez crying and saying that war has twisted his nature. Fuck that. Its a whacky adventure and thats whats so cool about it. From a tech standpoint TS future perfect can still compete with current gen games.

I think a lot of the main developers are still with FR (the guys who worked with Rare, and founded FR). So I think there is a chance we'll get a classic Timesplitters experience, whenever the game comes out.

they were no where near completeing they were still at two mind whether to put it on the wii,, the had concept art and some meshes and graphic modules (still needs work as you can see) but most gameplay elements were still under development

Don't worry, all that's happened is that free radical went bust and Crytek bought the company (and the rights to the games, but that's not a problem.)

Free Radical still exists, it's just been renamed as Crytek UK. I'd imagine that particular studio will still be working on timesplitters. Why buy a company, steal the rights to its signature series and not let it work on it?

Of course, some chaps left free radical but I'm fairly sure guys like Doak (Doctor Doak from Goldeneye) are still there.

Maybe, but it will definately be out on either ps3/360 or both as there video shows normal maps and hi-poly z-brush models used to make normal maps. Wii doesnt support normal mapping, could still happen though, possibly with the Wii HD that has been rumoured

Oh do you know why? =] Its because they use crappy dvd roms... Whilst PS3 uses Blu-Ray... Blu-Ray = over 8 times more capacity for games, so better graphic capabilites because of the hardware and the physics are mindblowing. Eg. LittleBigPlanet. You can't put that on an Crapbox.

Thats not how it works, character models, enviroments, props etc are always made to a standard ps3/360 can handle then seperately down sized for Wii or PS2.
