  • The roof slipped off like a wig off a person's head lmao

  • there must have been a proper dialogue between the borough and the owners. If therte wasn´t then it seems unlawful to tear somebody´s property down . or at least you´ve got to be a bit cruel and leave people homeless this way . I don´t like the looks of this......

  • thats what happens when you try to cut corners and not follow the rules

the whole row of houses should be torn down and new rebuild

  • FUCK YOU TORONTO WORKERS HALF OF YOU NEED TO BE FIRED. FUCK YOU AND YOUR UNION WELFARE JOBS. IF YOU EVER SEE ANYONE APPLYING FOR A JOB WITH THE CITY OF TORONTO ON THEIR RESUME......THROW IT IN THE GARBAGE. ALL THESE PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO DO IS SLEEP ON THE JOB AND FUCK OVER CITIZENS AND STEAL THEIR MONEY. MILLER WORST MAYOR EVER, FUCK CUPE AND THE LAZY WORKERS THAT ARE RUINING TORONTO INTO A GHETTO DUMP CITY.

    FUCK YOU ALL LAZY FUCKS.

  • @canadianbuck77 Great post. Did you ever learn to articulate a point without using words that make you seem like gutter trash?

  • The bureaucrats were furious at being defied.

  • I don't know. I am not buying that this house needed to be demolished. It seemed like a rash decision by the CITY OF TORONTO (TAXONTO) to tear it down. Why not take a moment to assess if it can be repaired. Repour a foundation around the areas that have collapsed. It looks like the house was pretty stable when it was being demolished. Support the sides and repour in segments. Yes that might have cost $100k to do but then they'd still have a house. On google maps street view, the house is gone.

  • @plexuss It takes quite the list of problems to require a house to be demolished like this. It is extremely rare due to some of the factors you pointed out. They probably determined that the cost of the repairs exceeded the cost of the house itself. An underpinning job alone could cost $100k.

  • obviosly teensageer made the house unsafe
