This video isnt all that helpful after they engage Gluth as you can see what the hell is going on in the back of the room.

Did this the other day with my hunter trying to kite the zombies alone. I dropped frost traps and ran them around the frost spots but it was hard as hell to do it alone and not lose a few now and then. A speed buff like pallys or unholy DK's have would be better I think with a hunter dropping a frost trap to help. I got hit and slowed to often on my hunter and died.

Mage or hunter kiting the zombies is the most important. Gluth will eat any zombies that get close to him. When Decimate goes off you need all dps to focus on the zombies. Other than that it really isn't to hard of a fight.

I did this for the first time on my mage, the hunter that normaly kites did it, his account went out for colledge, i went frost for this fight, only took twice but i didn't know about the stacking debuff the first time.

Put frost armor up than the trick is to put up ice barrier because when it breaks its like an extra frost nova, move back from them and before they break out hit cone of cold to slow them, if they get too close frost nova, and get creative from there

debuff is uncurable... usualy, a good idea is to take a dk or retadin with a tanking off spec to do the kiting, because they can actualy take the zombie hits.... a High health feral druid can single tank this boss, if they pop barkskin at 10 stacks, (and you have it timed to where your not getting decimated past 5 stacks)

For kiting the zombies a shaman(me) also works extremely well, just make sure the shaman isn't taking all the damage.

I'm usually the healer(resto druid) that has to heal the kiter, man thats gotta be one of the most stressful fights for me, specially when the debuffs the kiter has is at 300+ and i have 2/3 mobs on me as well. In my opinion, Hunters are the best kiters if they know what they're doing.

Every one try this(I invented it XD)...B4 a big pull or boss battle...Set a cooking fire by where the Ranged dps will stay(Mages loks, healers ect). It will boost spirit for the first minute or two and help get a lil mana back

dude, that's like 4 spirit, with the added annoyance of trying to avoid running through the fire or standing too close as it causes pushback to casters. i personally wouldn't bother :P

I have a question: When Gluth uses decimate, how do you avoid dying? Wouldn't he melee you to death with only a few thousand HP? Or does he stop melee/weaken/otherwise lose the ability to pwn you?

Don't rely on DBM for this fight. about half of the times in my raids we have experienced that DBM is about 10 seconds late on decimate.

The zombies dont hit for mutch but they do apply a stacking debuff withs incresses the dmg you take.

The rogue enrage dispel you are referring to is Anesthetic Poison. It's a poison you apply to your weapon.

Should be applied to an additional weapon in your inventory, to allow quickly equipping it and shiving off the enrage.

Done with alot more ease by hunters though.

Ciderhelm doesn't have a threat meter. What you are seeing at the bottom is Recount, a damage meter. Cider is never at any point really topping that, although he maintains agro. It's also probably worth noting that he's using Satrina's buff frames. If you want more info on his UI you can always go to Tankspot where he, and other noteworthy tanks, keep their UIs packaged there.

Digits by Satrina is the addon he's using to show his health and rage as %s. Pitbull has a built in incoming heals system in it, though I think almost any major Ace UF has the same system. The cooldowns above his health is just him adding another bar to his UI from Bartender and putting his CDs on them. I do the same thing with my healer. You can find his UI on Tankspot, though I believe it's a little different now from this post.

This is a fun fight if your kiters are experienced.

What we did was we had both a tank rotation (Two heavy-duty Prot Pallies), and for kiting we had it switch up between a Ret Pally and an Unholy DK. A few seconds after the Decimate cooldown (he usually waits a few), our Hunters and Mages ran back quick to Frost Nova and Trap them for ensuing AoE madness. Didn't get a single zombie. :3

For the love of God, don't be like my tank, say "He doesn't need an off-tank in 10 man" stack all 10 debuffs, pop LoH, and ask "Why didn't I get any heals?!"

THE DEBUFF REDUCES YOUR HEALING TAKEN BY 10%, and it stacks 10 times! which means if ONE tank tries to tank, 100% of healing will be ignored. So... yeah, stressing that part... Just cause i got yelled at for not healing my tank after decimate when he had 10 debuffs.

Yes Cider rogues have Anesthetic poison which removes enrage effects from a target have the rogues in your raid (if you have no hunters) apply it to their off-hand so they can easily shiv and remove the enrage.

This is a minor hard boss, all you need to do is have a healer or ret pala kiting them, mage FN'ing, and hunter Frost Trap(?)ping, keep the pala alive and it's a piece o' cake.

We did this with only one Tank (me) and had a Druid Healer taunting him in Bear Form when I reached 10 Stacks of Mortal Wound to buy me some more seconds until it wears off.

Traditional wisdom is 5 stacks and trade. I know a couple tanks that trade at on the 6th stack every time but they are the exception. I guess it kind of depends on what you think you can handle.

We did kiting with the OT, we putted out a frost trap and ran around it so he wudnt get hit, the switching was a bit tricky to do when you have to charge over the place to get the boss of the MT when he had 100% healing reduce, but we got him down in second try ;)

As a Unholy DK, I kited all the zombies along with an assisstance of a resto shaman healing me and using earthbind totem, I can pull them in from the front with Death Grip and use taunt, and also use Frost Presence for less damage and Unholy presence for a fast get-a-way

For kiting, we had 2.5 healers, me(resto sham) a holy priest and a balance druid. the druid and priest were healing, and i went to kite the adds with a frost mage. The kiting was really easy this way, we didnt get hit very much. I would just shock a add that comes, get him in earthbind range, and if i do get dazed by a hit, the frost mage freezes them in place when its up. It was really easy doing it this way. imo

Being a shammy I've found on this fight that earthbind totem and frost shock helps with the the zombies. When I was there for this fight our Pally was on zombies and apparently he wouldn't have been able to do it without me.

i tend to place it on my mainhand(2.6 speed) and it tends to dispell the enrage effect before the animation of him growing is even finished.
