I remember listening to this song in 1983 when my father was stationed at Plattsburgh AFB in New York. We lived so close to Montreal, QC that we could get a strong Montreal station called CKMF which played great music. The dj's spoke in French but the music was mostly American. As far as i'm aware, Cheri released two albums - 'Murphy's Law' in 1982, and 'Love Stew' in 1983. Someone more informed than me stated that the 'Murphy's Law' album was re-recorded for the Canadian market, so there's actually two different sounding versions of the album around.
