We had a local fellow put on the plow mount bracket, hook up the hoses, electricity. Fisher so you can angle it, raise it in cab. Thanks for watching! Commenting.
im from mexico and texas too, and these snow storm is awesome but my family and i we was 3 weeks with out light and water, food is so dificult these snowstorm, but I LOVE MAINE these is my contry and my place, and thank you 4 the video,
no wonder we dont get much snow in the UK, looks like they drop most of it on you guys before it blows over to us.
we'd be finished if we had a storm like that, it'd ruin us. its the authorities that are useless, its been a bad winter so far by UK standards,we had 12" fall in a day last month and we we're short on road salt cus they used it all on the 6" before xmas. their winter preparations are cross ya fingers and pray that it dont snow.they never learn.you guys are prepared and get on with it
Amazing! I used to live in Caribou, ME when I was a kid, and this brought back some good memories. I'm working on getting my wife to move to New England. I live near St. Louis, MO right now. This place would grind to a halt for weeks if that much snow hits here. People here freak out over a light dusting!
Lemme ask you... is coming to Houlton worth it? I mean I hear its in the middle of nowhere and I hear that I-95 at its northern end only sees 1,880 vehicles a day... sound believeable?
trust me it's all true. i'm from mass and in the five years that i've lived and i've only seen about seven faces lolz i loved to watch the snow storms though XD
I am planning on living in Northern Maine after G-school. I think that the area is great. Can anyone recommend towns to visit and explore. Sorry, the question mark key is broken. I have a slight foreign accent, will this be a problem for me meeting people and fitting into the society there. Thanks
Thanks for stopping in. Your sister was my son Alex's age and in the same class. The painting is still there on garage...but tons of snow for the next few weeks...record year. Will try to snap you a shot or video loop...with the snow you can't see the home now!
Thanks for making/sharing this vid. Looks like a nice area to visit and stop and have hot chocolate or coffee. My buddy and I will be checking out your area, including Houlton, and Downeast Maine the first week of March'08.
Glad you liked it! Houlton Maine is the prettiest, friendliest, best place to raise a family in. People live within their means, there is little crime, the scenery is beautiful! I will tell Louis you said hi...not sure he knows he is in that video caught hard at work! You feel as grateful to being raised in Houlton as anyone from here does. Did you pick potatoes growing up? (smiling!)
Great footage and commentary! Nice to see Houlton from afar. All the scenes are very familiar and serve to remind me what a beautiful little town it is. Nice to see Louie Blanchette at work, too (my former neighbor and classmate!! Hey, Louie!!) Thanks for taking the time...I'll send this around for everyone to enjoy a winter day in Houlton, Maine, nicest town in the USA!

If you could please film 35 Highland Avenue (it's a house) just so I could see it, that'd be awesome. (You probably won't, it's okay)
The barn on that house used to be painted... My mother's work. And I'd like to see how the house looks now.
