U let the water come in slowly, looked up and breath out through ur nose.

A simple skill, but up to now, the best I have seen on youtube.

@Cyryiel actualy if i was to score a divemaster for skill presentation it would score 2 in scale of 5, a no pass!

Developing demonstration quality skill needs at leas score of 4, ie, exercise performed correctly, and slowly enough to adequately exhibit or illustrate details of skill. no the case in this video.

@etsak75 erm, i don't do diving but i found this video easier to understand than the one you suggested, but i can see that the one you suggested is for the more experienced diver as it was about the hand signals etc, just saying:)

no it arent the bubbles..

if water gets into ur mask just look up and breath out through ur nose.. the water will go out the mask.. that's it =]

@Steve10578 Yes, IT IS the air bubbles that is clearing the mask. The air pressure you are pushing into the mask with your nose is forcing the water out the bottom of the mask. The mask fills with air and the water is forced out the bottom of the mask.
