the only thing is the legs, there so seperated. its not really even bad its manga, ive seen some completly impossible leg positions, i just get mad i can seem to draw something that is placed "wierd" and get away with it. i really like this,, are you making a full manga? if so id like to read it!

It took me a while to figure out tones as well! But it's actually easier using the coloring, especially when I use Brush A on the pattern tool for adding darker tones. It's fun lol :3

so, it's only B or W pixels, but at that resolution, when you print, it's fine.

Oh, my gosh...I feel so hopeless.

The thing is, I CAN draw manga. And I have an idea for a comic, too. So I asked for Manga Studio 4 for Christmas, thinking it would solve all my problems---however, I epically suck at drawing with a mouse, and, dude, YOU'RE SO SICK WHEN IT COMES TO MANGA! Trust me, that ISN'T an insult. By sick, I mean crazily devoted and a drawing god. *bows down* Anyhoo, I'm just so jealous of you! I don't know how to do all those crazy layers. I must really suck. *sigh*

I don't mean this as an insult to you, but Manga Studio won't help you solve all of your problems. Start on paper first. Whatever you have, draw it out. A good story is just as convincing as watching characters.

Now if your story is characetr driven, then focus more on your character art. You don't necessarily have to "suck" at something because someone is good at one medium. Try your hand, come up with a good story, and who knows?...eg...Crayon Shin Chan.

This is a great tutorial. I just bought MangaStudio, and this clears up a lot. For those that need to know, the program does not come with a touch pad. You need to use a mouse. However, the Wacom bamboo pads are pretty affordable now. Think you can get a decent one for about $100. Check the website out.

I don´t sketch, nor do I make movement lines, that is something I have to have the decipline so I was wondering... In real time, how long does it take to make a drawing? Is it easier on old fashion paper or is it easier on computer?

it s faster by hand, but to me, it's easyer to do the sketch on pc, because i can move and stretch everything. It's faster coloring in reality, but on pc you have more possibilities.. well. they are two opposite ways to approach drawing..

manga studios is good if you have a graphics tablet (so you can draw on the comp) but is also very helpful with inking and various MANGA related aspects. Photoshop is good, but doesnt provide as much when it comes to manga (for example speed lines). i personally have both though, and i use manga studios for greyscale work and drawing and photoshop for coloring
