Heavy weather sea trials WILDCAT 40 2008

nice editing job....they cut away any time it takes a quartering or broadside hit. Most boats can handle head seas, and it makes for good footage. I want to see this in a rear quartering sea....bet it gets spun all over the place like a top.

@kenfo0 Actually its just the oposite. on a quartering or following sea the fottage is boring because the boats so stable there is no exciting moments, in fact a quartering following sea is the boats best course, hands off, no broaching effect whatsoever, at least in these moderate 3m seas. Not that you'll beleive me, I was just the guy driving the boat.

@frankwildcat You are FoS. The footage shows a quartering wave, then quickly cuts away, yet shows every head sea shot. Everyone knows cats take head seas well. Anyone with knowledge knows they handle quartering seas astern poorly. If you were honest (you are not), you'd show that footage too. Now don't contradict my truth with "nah-ah".  It is childish.

@kenfo0 What can I say, if you take the time to look at all of the other videos I have posted, in these videos it is myself testing my designs in sometimes heavy seas. All I can say is that in my opinion, (which you would have to concede should stand for somthing, as i am actually the guy testing the boat, not sitting in front of a computer passing judjment) that my cats are fine in quartering seas, but thats not to say that all cats are good on this course.
