fancy videos aren't going to get the public to adopt a pet from a shelter. The best solution os to make it mandatory that pets sold in pet shops be spayed or neutered

Saw this on tv last night for the first time and thought it was a great commercial. We currently have our second shelter dog who is 14 and would never consider any other option for getting a pet. Love the wallet part. Revenge is sweet. windnwater09

Why was this public service announcement "ditched"? Did organization management ditch it? The networks? In my experience, shelter pets are awesome; my 1st dog, a black Lab mix, from a shelter, was smarter than any dog I have had since, and long-lived, to 15. On playground slides, she would climb the steps up and slide down; she would balance herself on swingset seats to swing. She could signal that a "monsoon" storm was on its way. Unless you'll show your dog, shelter pets are the way to go.

Such a great vid. I have 11 pets (mostly small critters) and all but one are rescues. They're so loving and are just as good if not better than pets bought from breeders or stores. Don't breed or buy whilst pets in rescues die!

Aww that was wrong for the owner to do that -_- Grrr Well I hope I can help fix things I'm trying to work at this little shelter or Humane Society down where I live its called South Wood County Humane Society its small but I wanna learn to not be afraid of animals I want to train dogs for Handicap and people in need I'll also want to help find them good homes =)
