The climate has not warmed for the past 15 yrs. We are actually headed towards a mini-ice age. The problems in climate science are that 1. Climate Science is just not one field. It mixes physics, bio, and chem. 2. There is no accurate data before say 100 yrs ago. If we only have 100 yrs of accurate data to compare to, you cannot get a solid result.

To me, "freedom" does not mean that I can do whatever I like regardless the consequences. Personally, I don' t believe that caring more about the world around reduces my freedom. It would be very selfish not to do that, I think.

No, caring doesn't reduce your freedom, but government regulations do. Laws do. The more laws and regulations we have, the less free we are, and the more power that authorities have to intrude in our lives.

"So what?" someone might say, "it's a price we must pay to protect the environment." I am all for protecting the environment, but personal decisions as to what vehicle I choose to drive, for example, should be left to the individual, and not the government.
