That depend on different kind of TV. If they have Compose AV port then you can play game, this TV don't have to be HD to be able to play game like i have seem psp connection to TV non-HD. If you have AV cable (Yellow, Red, and White) then it can't be play game.

@Tdhred You need buy AV cable that is for PSP 2000+3000. If AV cable box say it is for PSP2000 don't worry, it will still work on PSP 3000. If you have PSP 2000 better if you buy Compose AV. If you have PSP 3000 you can choose any AV cable or compose.  Just connection to TV then hold display buttion until it change mode.

one:it had loading screens

two:it was no fun and had bad graphics

three:levels were different

four:boring
