Que saudades! I was an exchange student in Brazil in 1999-2000 when boy bands were at their peak. I'm surprised 5ive never got famous in the US. For some reason only Nsync and Backstreet got famous but these guys had a lot more talent. Brazilians latch on to every single pop phenomenon from the English-speaking world - almost solely to Americans. Somehow these guys passed by the wayside in the US because of Blink 182 and all the other punk/pop fags that dominated the scene in the early 2000's.
