  • The reg number has changed too...

  • Going through a major restore..????

    What's up with it.....?

It was mint when he sold it..

  • My dads old car..is it for sale...

  • @djkwillo

    Hi Willo boy,

No it's not for sale. Now going through a major resto /custom program. Watch this Space!!!! Should be ready for Americana this year.

  • I love cars from the 50s and 60s. This is when cars were designed with character and style. Real rolling works of arts. Today's cars just look like carbon copies of each other.

  • Despite that funky looking front end, I wouldn't mind owning one of these if the price was reasonable; either 2 or 4-door. There were no model names during the last model year for the make and only 911 two-door models were produced and 2,123 4-doors.

  • Excellent, not many left of these old Desotos...

  • Nice car!! Loved the drive by's...

  • you want to make this car handle like a dream?.....install an "ADDCO brand rear anti-sway bar" and put on 4 Michilin steel bealted radials. You would believe what a difference it would make. I had a 1962 chrysler newport, mechanically the same car, and it made a 1000% difference. The only catch is that you will have to re-bend the dual exhaust pipes over the anti-sway bar.

  • The reason cars suck now is because a car is now viewed as almost an appliance....like a refridgerator or a TV. Back then they were mobile pieces of "art"

  • @inkey2 ,

I totally agree. Most cars of today even look like damned refrigerators!!

  • @inkey2 Yeah and they stopped making cars look like monsters and that sucks

  • @cliffthelightning at that time there was no need to make them small when gasoline was 25 cents a gallon. Also there were very few things on these old cars that you couldn't fix yourself with 2 different screw drivers and 3 different socket wrench heads. A tune up could be done for about 40 bucks in todays money. Back then it was very difficult to sell a car in the USA that was not an over powered mamouth......the public demanded them

  • So different looking, I love it. Thanks for showing all the interior details too.

  • Wow! That car is so awesome I'd leave it 100 percent the way it is.

  • That thing is beautiful. They surley don't make cars like they used to. All cars from back end were works of art. Awesome that it has pushbutton transmission.

  • great vids !!!! need a bike doin up can you help ???????
