Naughty dog had to make a remake of the old crash bandicoots -.-
the only thing that bothers me in crash bandicoot is that the story is really weak, it's alwats the same thing (that's why my favorite crash game ever is twinsanity, that was awesome)
with todays technology, they could make cutscenes, and put some backstorys, like explaining where did coco come from XD

I want a new, fresh, HD, amazing new crash bandicoot racing game for wii, xbox 360, ps3, etc. The characters should have all the characters CTR, CNK, CTTR had, and maybe some new characters. They should all look like they used to, just better quality to them. Fresh new tracks, and some throwbacks from the other crash racing games like Mario kart wii did. Who agrees? :D

I actually found out there is a new crash game being devolped by activision. I dont know the title becuase it's a work in progress but, i know it is going to be more like the orginal.

@vgman94 You know, my favourite series of all time (The Elder Scrolls) go through a revamp in every game (and Crash and Spyro go through revamps every three or four games).
The 5th installment will have a brand new game engine and that means better AI, combat and physics. The character designs are more realistic and everything is just truly wonderful. In actual fact, I recommend you to watch out for this game (named Skyrim). It has dragons (doesn't even compare to Spyro - even in his LOS form).
@fiscerspoonerfan I'll check out some trailers when I have the time. If you would be as kind as to find me the trailer you think is best (or has it already been released?), I'd appreciate it very much. I've heard of Skyrim, and like to see the dragons. :3

By the way, I am looking forward to the Crash fan game mainly because I'm a bit tired of waiting from Activision to come out with a new Crash game already. And there's no word from ND about a new Jak & Daxter game yet but it is possible for them to come back to the series, unlike with Crash.
@vgman94 #2 It is really nice to see a childhood game remade in a new game engine but for me, it is much more than that. The fan game has potential to be made into something great because of the now-advanced physics, AI, graphics...etc. It brings a new twist to Crash and in the game, you can actually control the camera and new moves are planned to be added. So, it's not the same old game but something which is fresh and nice. Also, there's no word from Activision about a new Crash game yet... :(

@Crashcrazyfreak Currently they're busy with "UNCHARTED3:Drake's deception" , but if it was up to them they would have released a crash game every year but there contract with universal studios insisted them to make 3 games. But they loved crash so much they made 4 games!

@videogamepimp22. Well, even if Naughty Dog came back, Activision would still be the publisher. I think you got your developers and publishers confused. Radical Entertainment is the current developer and their game was in progress but then Activision cancelled it, for reasons we don't know.
@videogamepimp22. It depends on how you look at it. Did you like Twinsanity? TT-Oxford made that game. Did you like Wrath of Cortex? Traveller's Tales made that. Did you like Crash Bash? Eurocom made that. Did you like Tag Team Racing? Radical made that. So, basically if you only liked Crash 1, 2, 3 and CTR then your statement can apply to you.
@videogamepimp22 Error. ND made the PS1 games, the early PS2 games are THE SAME WAY. So, if you hate those games, why not just hate Crash in general? WOC and TwinSanity aren't very different. The real Crash us just Crash and Crash, like the fans, have grown up. Crash is different. Instead of hating it, why not accept and enjoy it?
@videogamepimp22 Hm, well one of my many ideas for the Crash series would include all previous owners of Crash to come back. ND was a genius in level desgin and music. Oxford was epic at a story (TwinSanity) and Radical was awesome at gameplay. And they could've improved it, if they had more time then Fa-I mean, Activision, allowed. Another 6 months would've been apt.
I heard that Radical Entertainment were going to use the Crash Twinsanity character designs from now on, they were receiving too many complaints. Or, so I heard.

As long as it is good (and retains the characters' trademark personalities :P) and long, I will be happy. But I'd be happier if it would improve on the Mind over Mutant formula rather than it going back to old Crash, tbh.
@fiscerspoonerfan Completely agree. I want to see a good improvement on the MOM formula. The old Crash formula was rather... Old by the time it changed IMO. I'd like to see some new ideas like Crystals & Gems for power ups and unlocking moves. Ability to store 2 Titans & Captain Titans. More moves, bring back the Wumpa bazooka. A good amount of things can be improved in Crash. Another good thing would be more moves, basically. Crash and the UTitans need a few more moves in their arsenal.

@CrashBandicootRocks2 I'm guessing because of development time, it was cut out and replaced by Ratcicle surfing, which is in my opinion, a downgrade from what I imagine in the concept art (ever played Sonic Shuffle? The Ice level in that game melts and creates a tidal wave as a final minigame for that level).

@RozzatheGreat No. Wrath of Cortex was a boring, mundane, soulless, repetitive shell of the ND games. Twinsanity had a great idea and a developed story but tons of glitches, bad design, and overall design wierdness killed it. TTR was BORING as well, with empty characters and generic gameplay. The next two at least TRIED to inject something NEW into the Crash franchise zombie corpse.
@Obito313. Actually, this game became Mind over Mutant. I didn't know that at the time this video was released. The game you are referring to is the one Activision cancelled, the one they made two petitions to get Activision to release. Trust me, I uploaded a different video all about it but Activision took it down due to copyright.

@vgman94 I agree, somewhat. Crash has one of the WORST FUCKING FANBASES ever, worse than Sonic even. I do prefer the "pick up and play" style of the ND games, but at least the Radical games had HEART and tried to re-invent the series in some way, unlike every mediocre franchise zombie game of the previous few years (Wrath of Cortex and all of those spinoffs that everyone hated when they came out, yet are now praised as "classic" because "LIEK ITS THE SAEM AS THE OLD 1S").
@vgman94 For the next Crash game, combine old and new styles with crystals/gems and crates as well as jacking etc. Also, the storyline should be, as you said, like Twinsanity (comical but serious in certain areas). As for the designs, well Radical was going to change them into the old ones for the new Crash game, but they got the boot by Activision. This is fine to me, personally I don't like the new designs a whole lot, but I wasn't about to burst a blood vessel over it.
@vgman94 Anyway, Crash has a story to tell, IMO, and ideas have been kicked around by the many developers of his games, but his full potential hasn't yet been realized. Of course, I'm sure since gamers are too busy playing CoD and Halo, IGN would call this new, epic Crash game "gayyyyy, NOT EXTREME AS COD MOUNTAIN DEW EXTREME!" and rate it a 6.8/10 (NOT AN AVERAGE).
There's many possiblilities, currently ACTIVISION is going through a $150 Billion lawsuit from the people who make Modern Warfare, & currently the people at Radical have the lisence rights that gives them ACTIVISION'S permission to make the Bandicoot games, are working on their new franchise named: "Prototype," it was mentioned that Radical put a game on halt due to that games developement, that game was probably the new crash, but i agree, 3 years is waaaay too long.

@SuckerGamer An actual COMBAT system, a new idea, and refreshing looks are "stupid and awful". Yet, a repetitive platformer with basic rehashes of the same game with new bits here and there are "good." They were good, but most GREAT Crash games were by others. And NOT ND!
The only Crash capabile of competing wit the Naughty Dog ones (in my opinion) was Crash Twinsanity, it had a good story line, but had plenty of play area. It was just a giant map which was interesting and the story didn't take out too much from the old technique of playing Crash Bandicoot. I sort of want to see another like Twinsanity (and spiralmouth did an awesome job with music)
I found a 3'rd resume. Like the second one it has two unnamed games. This guy worked for High Impact Games. The second unnamed one says prototype the first resume said prototype as well. So the second unnamed one is probably the Crash game. On Harnoor Piracha's website you can see the resume.

@videogamepimp22. Well, even if Naughty Dog came back, Activision would still be the publisher. I think you got your developers and publishers confused. Radical Entertainment is the current developer and their game was in progress but then Activision cancelled it, for reasons we don't know.

@videogamepimp22. It depends on how you look at it. Did you like Twinsanity? TT-Oxford made that game. Did you like Wrath of Cortex? Traveller's Tales made that. Did you like Crash Bash? Eurocom made that. Did you like Tag Team Racing? Radical made that. So, basically if you only liked Crash 1, 2, 3 and CTR then your statement can apply to you.

@videogamepimp22 Error. ND made the PS1 games, the early PS2 games are THE SAME WAY. So, if you hate those games, why not just hate Crash in general? WOC and TwinSanity aren't very different. The real Crash us just Crash and Crash, like the fans, have grown up. Crash is different. Instead of hating it, why not accept and enjoy it?

@videogamepimp22 Hm, well one of my many ideas for the Crash series would include all previous owners of Crash to come back. ND was a genius in level desgin and music. Oxford was epic at a story (TwinSanity) and Radical was awesome at gameplay. And they could've improved it, if they had more time then Fa-I mean, Activision, allowed. Another 6 months would've been apt.

@vgman94 I want a new Crash game as well (I don't care whether it is old Crash or new Crash). But I sincerely hope that it gets made soon enough (and have a PS3 version finally).
As long as it is good (and retains the characters' trademark personalities :P) and long, I will be happy. But I'd be happier if it would improve on the Mind over Mutant formula rather than it going back to old Crash, tbh.

@fiscerspoonerfan Completely agree. I want to see a good improvement on the MOM formula. The old Crash formula was rather... Old by the time it changed IMO. I'd like to see some new ideas like Crystals & Gems for power ups and unlocking moves. Ability to store 2 Titans & Captain Titans. More moves, bring back the Wumpa bazooka. A good amount of things can be improved in Crash. Another good thing would be more moves, basically. Crash and the UTitans need a few more moves in their arsenal.

@CrashBandicootRocks2 I'm guessing because of development time, it was cut out and replaced by Ratcicle surfing, which is in my opinion, a downgrade from what I imagine in the concept art (ever played Sonic Shuffle? The Ice level in that game melts and creates a tidal wave as a final minigame for that level).

@RozzatheGreat No. Wrath of Cortex was a boring, mundane, soulless, repetitive shell of the ND games. Twinsanity had a great idea and a developed story but tons of glitches, bad design, and overall design wierdness killed it. TTR was BORING as well, with empty characters and generic gameplay. The next two at least TRIED to inject something NEW into the Crash franchise zombie corpse.

@Obito313. Actually, this game became Mind over Mutant. I didn't know that at the time this video was released. The game you are referring to is the one Activision cancelled, the one they made two petitions to get Activision to release. Trust me, I uploaded a different video all about it but Activision took it down due to copyright.

@PoisoningOrchid. Well, how do you know what the new game is going to be about? None of us know for sure. So, you're just going to ignore the series because you don't get exactly what you want? Let's say, metaphorically speaking, Naughty Dog bought Crash (whic they NEVER will), would you stick to that statement. Just because I said I won't buy it, it doesn't mean im not going to see who's brought it, if Naughty Dog brought it back, I'd cry of joy! Besides, it could be possible that the game would NOT as well come out, because, it's September, and it's getting close to 2011. That is just my opinion but we never know what could happen,.

@iGontierX And what IF Naughty Dog liked, for whatever reason, the new games as much as their own and tried to make a more complex system for combat, improve the Mutant/Crash ratio and didn't change the designs back? How would you react? What would you do? Cry, kill yourself? You'd STFU and realize that CRASH isn't MEANT to stay the same forever. WTF is wrong with you repetition whores? @dragon4xxx That was what they were going for. A punk style, and if you think of the chronology, at this stage, he should be somewhat punk like for a few games. And long hair? It's a MOHAWK. He doesn't look like a girl, sheesh. And besides, in TwinSanity, he had a 50s haircut and his hair changed slightly in every game and this was no different. What is it with people and "this just isn't **** anymore!" Sorry dude, but Crash was never suppose to stay the same forever. It's called evolution.

@vgman94 I agree, somewhat. Crash has one of the WORST FUCKING FANBASES ever, worse than Sonic even. I do prefer the "pick up and play" style of the ND games, but at least the Radical games had HEART and tried to re-invent the series in some way, unlike every mediocre franchise zombie game of the previous few years (Wrath of Cortex and all of those spinoffs that everyone hated when they came out, yet are now praised as "classic" because "LIEK ITS THE SAEM AS THE OLD 1S").

@vgman94 For the next Crash game, combine old and new styles with crystals/gems and crates as well as jacking etc. Also, the storyline should be, as you said, like Twinsanity (comical but serious in certain areas). As for the designs, well Radical was going to change them into the old ones for the new Crash game, but they got the boot by Activision. This is fine to me, personally I don't like the new designs a whole lot, but I wasn't about to burst a blood vessel over it.

@vgman94 Anyway, Crash has a story to tell, IMO, and ideas have been kicked around by the many developers of his games, but his full potential hasn't yet been realized. Of course, I'm sure since gamers are too busy playing CoD and Halo, IGN would call this new, epic Crash game "gayyyyy, NOT EXTREME AS COD MOUNTAIN DEW EXTREME!" and rate it a 6.8/10 (NOT AN AVERAGE).

There's many possiblilities, currently ACTIVISION is going through a $150 Billion lawsuit from the people who make Modern Warfare, & currently the people at Radical have the lisence rights that gives them ACTIVISION'S permission to make the Bandicoot games, are working on their new franchise named: "Prototype," it was mentioned that Radical put a game on halt due to that games developement, that game was probably the new crash, but i agree, 3 years is waaaay too long.

@SuckerGamer An actual COMBAT system, a new idea, and refreshing looks are "stupid and awful". Yet, a repetitive platformer with basic rehashes of the same game with new bits here and there are "good." They were good, but most GREAT Crash games were by others. And NOT ND!

The only Crash capabile of competing wit the Naughty Dog ones (in my opinion) was Crash Twinsanity, it had a good story line, but had plenty of play area. It was just a giant map which was interesting and the story didn't take out too much from the old technique of playing Crash Bandicoot. I sort of want to see another like Twinsanity (and spiralmouth did an awesome job with music)

I found a 3'rd resume. Like the second one it has two unnamed games. This guy worked for High Impact Games. The second unnamed one says prototype the first resume said prototype as well. So the second unnamed one is probably the Crash game. On Harnoor Piracha's website you can see the resume.
