@003Mexicano Gt won't go that fast. It has a limiter on the speed because of the tires. If your car came with 16 inch wheels max speed is 130.

@ASSEMblerEX Thats incorrect, gts dont really have a speed limiter and Iv taken mine to 142 no problem. Also GT's come with 17" wheels. GT's come with a front tower strut brace stock aswell. The only upgrades with a cobra are bigger brakes, 4v heads, betters trans, and upgraded rear springs. Then you have the exterior work

are different. Comparing the cobra to the GT is like comparing the V6 to the GT.

@IrishChris1979 I would go for 4.10 if I had to do is all over again. However 3.90 gives me highway speed but only 100-130. Unless it's a supra you're not going to go that fast in a race, so 4.10 would have the

best return, but severely limit top speed.

@003Mexicano All Cobra's have better suspension, brakes, and more power in relation to their GT conterparts. Also they have various different styling mods to GT's. In 94-95 the Cobra motor was a high ouput 5.0 with 25hp more. 96-01 the Cobra came with a 300hp DOHC 4.6 motor, about 300hp. Where as the GT's came with the 4.6 SOHC motor with about 225hp.

@Nitroxdude I would say if the car is stock, spend the money on longtube headers, they add nearly 40hp. Get an oil vapor catch can as it feeds the head evaporative right back into the intake which gums up the IMRC butterfly valve. Put in a pro 5..0 short shift and a king cobra clutch.
