None of their higher powered pointers comply to CDRH 1041.x(anything) as there are no interlocks or safety measures. Most ANY DPSS laser on the market cost roughly half of what resellers charge for them. For example; I purchase 473nm (blue) 100mW modules for $1,200 direct, instead of paying a reseller $2,500.

I'd rather have quality and low volume than crap quality and high volume.

This guy is an idiot. You can't successfully mod a 5mw into a 100mw. the method he would tell you is basically allowing more current into the laser diode shortening its life, sometimes to a few seconds.
