question when I draw the line for the path it turns into a box? I never used this I appreciate your video but don't have clue why this is happening? any idea what is wrong?

@silentsteve63 - You're probably in Object Drawing mode. When you have the Line Tool selected, at the bottom of your tools palette (near the magnet) is a box with a circle inside. You'll need to click on this box and make sure its not highlighted. If you can't find it, the keyboard shortcut should be "J".
