  • an even better theme song for occupy wall street is Rich Man's World by Immortal Technique.

  • Check out my song influenced by occupy Wall Street:

Search Youtube "Soul Force - SK Feat. Spoke in Wordz & DJ Rsquared"

  • well done , well done , bravo :)

  • ROFL!!! Good job.

  • @cowgirlmoon: Come Again Moon is a wonderful song. Check it out.

  • What is a MOVEMENT?

If an earthquake - it DESTROYS.

If in the bowel - it helps dung SELF-ELIMINATE.

Has "movement" ever led to an innovative remedy, or just made circles in the superficial surface of the water that, if not distorted, merely REFLECTS the MOVER him/herself, whereas the treasure is hidden in the deep?

  • We need to work together, jobs need to stop firing ppl all the time, jobs need to start rotating more and promoting more, and we should get our raises every year but we don't, the rich should give from their heart and understand, the poor should work and become something, some of this is just plain crap, and other stuff is getting better, but we must remain focused on getting rid of greed and the income gap, I am truly for that, but where does one start?

  • I think the best occupy song is with out doubt MAKANA: WE ARE THE MANY!! He really sums up the message well

  • as long as there is 1, there is .99!

  • GET JOBS LOSERS! all occupiers are LOSERS! quit whining and WORK!

  • @djhivesdotcom 8 million jobs lost under your boy W. start voting for jobs asshole

  • @hitchains

FUCK YOU! McDonalds is hiring! Dont tell me jobs are 'lost' when MEXICANS are working the gas stations and resturant kitchens because lazy entitled white-niggers like YOU and these 'occupiers' refuse to do this sort of work!

  • @djhivesdotcom oh you're an ignorant racist.. shocker! Mcd's had a publicized nationwide hiring spree last year.. thousands lined up, more than what they were hiring. so you think 8 million more people got lazy during your boy W admin. it couldnt have been because of his assanine policies that im sure you voted for. because you're an ignorant racist and all. btw i work 60 hrs a week and get taxed more than the fucks you vote for moron. "dont tell u jobs were lost" lol 8 million moron.

  • @hitchains as i told you before, i work 60 hours a week. and as i also told you before, Mcds cant hire everybody laid of by your votes moron! go vote for Romney, he's got your best interest in mind. 8 MILLION JOBS LOST not due to laziness. due to morons like you who vote

  • @hitchains maybe if we got rid of the 11 million people here illegaly we might have more jobs for people.

  • @usaf317 bullshit

  • @Shifurei either way they should be sent back to where they came from.

  • @usaf317 haha not really,They don't steal THAT many jobs. You want to know where most of the jobs have gone? They are in China and other LOW pay countries. immigrants do work for lower pays so they are somewhat interesting. still they come to america to earn MORE unlike low pay countries. You should blame corperate america for moving most production offshore. The goverment is laughing behind your back, "he believes that immigrants steal his job"gud for us he doesnt blame us. Bonus

  • @Shifurei it doesnt matter if illegal immigrants only take one job...they are still in violation of federal law. of course our jobs have been sent to china and other third world nations. we need to impose higher taxes on imports so that those jobs return to America.

  • @usaf317 sure lol, that's what europe did and look at them now. Taxations don't help, the infinite desire to make more profit or a higher GOP is the iseue no growth lasts forever

  • @Shifurei gop? you mean GDP? the problems in europe is socialism!! we jus need to start producing things in America again. to hell with europe, china and the rest.

  • @djhivesdotcom so during the clinton admin we created 20 million jobs.. er 20 mill people got "un lazy" and during the W admin 8 million people happend to get lazy all of a sudden?? thats your understanding of economics?? your level of critical thinking is amazing!!

  • @hitchains

Who is "WE"?? You got a turd in your pocket? *YOU* go get a job! As I told you before McDonald is hiring!

  • @hitchains yeah ...it was clinton that signed nafta!!! and just like ross perot said..all our jobs went south...then to china and other places. obama wants "free" trade with more third wolrd nations.....cheap labor!

  • WE ARE THE 99% !!! You may like my song inspired by the Occupy Everywhere movement. It's called, 'A SONG FOR THE ONE PERCENT'. Check it out:-)

  • GREAT SONG/VISUALS CHECK OUT AGENT X at SABATINO PRODUCTIONS

  • Why bother to blame the 1% like if the 99% had nothing to do with the way things work, i think of the other 1% whoes lives went down the drain as they pretty much we're considered to be disposable by the rest, the drifters, hookers, psychiatric patients and addicts that are burdened by the rest and by the rest i mean this socalled 99%.

  • What gives someone the right to deny help. By saying go and earn your way it still does not address the problem of not helping. You sound like you want us to take the only action we can to get what you have, murder. By not helping your fellow man this is the only option they are left with so beware what you think and say. I swear, everyone of you think we can get better jobs by working at it, dont patronize me, I have put in good time well work none is giving me a promotion, so lies are lies

  • @Clint8403 "You sound like you want us to take the only action we can to get what you have, murder" That's the dumbest thing I have heard yet.

Assuming that you're arguement has some validity, think about it. You want the "1%" to "help" the "99%" by essentially giving hand-outs. Think in terms of 100 people. 99 people want 1 person to give what's "fair" according to the 99 others. Each one of the 99 people will only get 1/98th of the hand-out they feel so entitled to.

    Work.

  • @Jerenemy lets break that down one more time ok, because of the size that the one has I would have to agree that everyone getting 1/98th is better than one having all and the rest having nothing any day. The problem here is you have taken society and made it 100 people, so funny, that argument does not even compare when you are talking about billions of ppl and trillions of dollars please, I give equal to all out of my 1 billion that I am holding, yep sounds good, now everyone join in, lol

  • @Clint8403 "Now everyone join in" What the fuck are you talking about? I could barely follow what you typed as it seems to be broken English. Are you Caucasian? The only reason I ask is; if you are not, you would have definitively been pushed through the school system without ever having to learn how to actually put words together, let alone logical arguments.

  • @Clint8403 We aren't talking about "Billions of people", there are less then 320 million in the US. And we aren't talking about Trillions of dollars, we are talking about the living wage that individual American make for working hard at their jobs. What you are talking about is made-up figures designed to justify your bullshit liberal arguments. You want to take what other have worked for, and you want to have it as your own while doing nothing. Case closed. "Now everyone join in", faggot.

  • @Jerenemy well, I do work. I do pay my bills, I ask for openings and work extra hours, and to topple you entire understanding of me, I give freely, without wanting anything in return, just to help ppl, you really got me backwards, but my truth remains, I believe in helping to make everyone better off, even if it means giving up something I worked long and hard for,

  • @Clint8403 I may be poverty level income, but I do my part out of my own pocket all the time, so I am not asking for anything that I myself wouldnt do

  • @Clint8403 Why are you commenting to yourself?

  • @Clint8403 If all of what your so uneloquently stated were true, which I highly doubt, then great. Give what you earn. That's your choice to do so. As is my choice (or should be) to not take the money I earn, from working hard, for MY family, and give it to some lazy asshole and his family. A society will not prosper like that. Look at Russia, look at North Korea (compare it to South Korea). You not only write on a 3rd grade level, but your cognitive skills are evidently not far behind.

  • @Clint8403 I do not have the right to deny help? Hell, that's something...Of course, the question that comes to mind is: Why don't I? Any reason, or is that just your premise? Because if so, I disagree with your premise.

  • @semperFi4ever100 no, not saying you dont have the right, but on a bigger scale on the yen and yang or balances of good and evil I would say other wise, we have the choice to make, to be either good or bad, and whether we like it not there are greater powers at work and one way or another things will be put back in balance. The question is do you want it to come sooner or later, either way the balance is out of our hands if you could just see that, help you brother and keep evil at bay, or not

  • Great Job!! The message must be heard, this is great. We may be a little more pissed sounding with our song.

  • Hi it's Symon from Occupy Birmingham UK Camp - Update

Can be found by searching 'Occupy Birmingham UK we are the 99%'..

    Solidarity.

  • It's complicared! Check out "Careful" by Pete Donnelly. It makes you think...

  • the worst part of the arrogance of the upper crust is that they actually think they earned it (most of it was stolen), and they actually think money make them a somebody. Money isn't evil, but what people do with it most certainly is sometimes, especially when they destroy a nation with their greed, and think their underwear isn't ever brown inside.....

  • there are still Americans who are too comfortable to realize THIS IS A NATION OF WORKING POOR, BY DESIGN, & it's been evolving, intentionally, for decades. Why are so many Americans so utterly stupid??? The experts knew about it, lied about it, ignored it, promoted it, & cashed their dividend checks. Screw wall street &every other white collar casino venture.....WE ARE THE 99% and we shall overcome, we shall prevail. The we will give former bankers directions to the homeless shelters/food banks.

  • my corporate slave. My company can brainwash you so easily and in the end our CEOs are just using your money to support our mansions, buy our kids BMWs, while you obsess over your pathetic mortgage payments till you die. So instead of protesting and making a SIMPLE inconvenince to us, look in the mirror and ask why am I a total nutcase of a consumer? why do I freely give muy money away to a bank? why do I allow a bank to profit off of my shelter or basic needs?

  • or somewhere remote where peoples happiness arent dictated as to whether or not they have the latest ipad or if they finally added a rare piece to thier coin or shoe collection. But I do agree the 99% are just total losers who want free hand me downs. Nobody told you to work 9-5, give all your money to a bank so I can use it on whatever I want, or buy insurance because you have a doom and gloom mentality. Its just your pathetic need to buy things you dont need, thus that is why you are

  • LOL if you losers think capatalistic nations are the 'happiest', you either havent done your work, nor have traveled the world enough or have been watching too much CNN, which can tell you whatever it wants to tell you. Our country has one of the highest suicide rates in the world, it constantly lives in fear thus insurance companies raping all of you, and there is no community because everyone is a potential serial killer, robber, or rapist. You want to see happiness? Go visit a tribe

  • @SOLIDSNAKEXXX360 wtf is wrong with you.

  • The signs were very smart....

  • GREAT MUSIC, GREAT VIDEO!!!

  • I'm Marine. I swore to protect this country against all enemies, foreign or domestic. I did. I shall. Nothing will change that vow. If you don't understand this vow, then you need to retract. Love and Take care, Mark USMC

  • Get off your lazy ass and go the fuck out there and get it. Earn it you spoiled punk ass bitches. I did. I'm Marine. My Daughter is Navy. My Father was 21-years buried at Arlington. Go sacrafice your lives you ungrateful begging leaches.

  • @keymared77 did you know who's ALEX JONES, GERALD CELESTE AND THE F ILLUMINATI MEGA GLOBALIST SNAKES EVIL DEVILS RICHEST FAMILIES OF THIS WORLD SLAVING AND KILLING 3/4 OF MANKIND. STUDY THE ILLUMINATI HISTORY, WHAT THEY DID TO THE DOLLAR IS NOT FUNNY. WHAT ABOUT THE CHEMTRAILS IN THE SKY. CAN SEE YOU DO NOT SEE JUSTICE AND LEST GOD.

  • @keymared77 im the child of 2 wealthy aristocratic investment bankers living on the upper east side of manhattan, why in gods name would i waste my time moving my self down to your level?

  • @Divinusxiphias you mean why should you bother moving yourself UP? Because love of money is your sin, your addiction, and your doom. Because supporting the working class that FEEDS YOU is the right thing to do and your arrogance stinks to high heaven, a place you'll never enter, while camels shall easily pass thru the eyes of needles. THAT'S WHY.

  • @GrannyTenderstone my addiction? no, my right. My family has worked hard for that money, got college degrees, and went on to be verrrryy successful investment bankers. what did your parents do? get high and drop out of high school and now you want us to support you? I spit at you, peasant.

  • Fuck laziness

  • whose the ass pick above...smash the system crumble it all...the economy all of it...the cops they got to be re educated...or at least properly educated

  • Some people never shoud of learned the worg "gimmie"

  • Anyone who is against occupy needs to educate themselves.

  • pick up George Orwell's 1984 and animal farm if you want to know whats going on

  • fact: collage tuition is average $30000 a year not including living accomodations and books

fact: average wage of a high school graduate $26000 dollars a year

fact: only those wealthy enough to go to school go without chains(parents make reasonable money)

fact: those not weathy enough intern themselves to slavery to their new master; interest and paying back bank loans.

    does this sound fair?

  • fact: governments pay billions of dollars in compound intrest payment to banks

fact: nearly 80% of tax money taken in is used to pay for this interest

fact: private banks lone money to government institutions

fact: goverments have the power to create their own money (bank of canada)

fact: due to the banking act canadas government must outsource all "loans" from private banks do some reaserch come back to me will a full mind not with empty words peace brothers & sisters

    Free from all the pain

Happy and having fun all the time

    It never happened, did it?

  • The song should be "Im proud to be a sucker for the politicians in washington"

  • "She did not teach me math"

That's obvious for the whole 99% going against the 1%. The rich pay higher taxes than anyone else. To be American is to be Capitalist and with capitalism there will ALWAYS be a minority that is far richer than the rest. It's how the world works. Occupy protesters are a mixed bunch with no true flag to go under. They are HURTING our economy more with their protesting bullshit by blocking people from working and damaging property. They're all brats crying for more.

  • @MikeEsex

Correct. The so called 99%'s fail to understand that concept. They'd rather see other people's money redistributed to them. We live in the most free country in the world, with everything at our fingertips, to acheive greatness and get everything that we want out of life. Yet, it's just not enough.

  • @Talent2008 free to everything except knowledge and complete freedom of speech (not counting yelling fire in cinema, etc.). if you believe were told what goes on in the world by our govt, lets look at the post 9/11 military procedures, it would take me more posts than i wanna make to make that point. we cant assemble to speak on PUBLIC land without a massive police presence. we dont support democracy because we tell people to shut up when they speak their mind.

  • @Talent2008 It might or might not be the freest country but it is not the happiest. In study after study after study it's been shown that people in over a dozen more socialized countries have a higher degree of contentment. To say we have everything to achieve greatness and get everything we want is like saying: You can win the lottery. No matter how hard they work most people never achieve their dreams. Many fail miserably despite hard work.Freedom is great but doesn't really exist without fairness

  • @thegroupof99 Fairness? What are you 5 years old? This "evil Capitalist" nation has one of the lowest starvation rates in the world. Everyone has access to medical care through medicaid programs, food through the food-stamp program, and many get their rent paid for through section 8 housing. We reward laziness, that is part of the problem. There is nothing like going to the grocery store and watching someone buy steak and lobster with their EBT card; meanwhile, I am balancing my budget.

  • @thegroupof99

I understand what your saying. However, nobody is forced to stay here. We can leave at any time. As for someone being able to do anything they want, I really stand by it, because I'm proof. I never graduated high school. I was thorwn out (twice) I had to get my GED instead. I then took an entry level position at a company answering phones.I learned the ropes, I branched out and started my own company (Gov't grant). I sold my company, and was hired by the buyer as a consultant.

  • @Talent2008 with hard work anything is possible in this country. This act shows how weak the citizens of America are now. We have people complaining that they are in pain when citizens of other countries are in fear of dying every day Americans say they are in poverty when they have clean water a house and food yet in other places in the world they would be lucky to have any of that one day a week.

Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.

    #AntiOccupy.

  • @matthewjsimonson

Exactly. Try going to some other countries. Tell them you don't have any money, or education. Therefore, you can't afford a home. Ask about their "section 8" program. Ask them about food stamps, state sponsored health insurance, Gov't grants, etc.

  • @matthewjsimonson Things are worse in some countries and better in others.None of that means the problems that exist here shouldn't be fixed. 95% of the wealth is controlled by 5% of the people and it's getting ever more lopsided as we speak. This is an unstable way to run a country. People continue to take it and be suckers. Occupy is the first public movement to scream this problem to the world. It was 0 degrees and 11 inches of snow in Denver and they're still there. They're real, not losers.

  • @Talent2008 The 99% want money ties broken between corporations and our government, not free money.

  • @Talent2008 Free? You can be arrested and detained indefinitely if they even THINK you are a terrorist... that includes having 7 days food in your house.. LOL ... and if SOPA goes thru, the internet will be just like censored internet in China... Freedom in the USA is a MYTH

  • @sewellanne that law about being arrested for being a suspected terrorist is only for non american citizens. its for all the evil muslims in iran... lol

  • @hchchk OH LOL! Buddy you had better read up on the NDAA right away... Its for AMERICAN CITIZENS too.. You are thinking of the Patriot Act, this new bill is for you..or any other American they deem to be a possible terrorist..

  • @MikeEsex Some rich pay higher taxes, some pay none;all use loopholes to pay less than they should. There's nothing in the Constitution about being Capitalist. If Capitalism is working for you, you like it and you think everyone else should just shut up and ignore the intense elements of unfairness that exist. We have a socialized monetary system delivered for private profits, manipulated by the few.The world works the way we make it work, or fail to make it work.

  • @thegroupof99

We are the freest country in the world, but as far as happiness goes that isn't because of Capitalism it's because of the leaders WE as a people elect that don't do their jobs that their paid ever so generously. The Housing market crash was because of the government which lead to the recession we're in today. When did I say I like it? Don't put assumptions down my throat, I just pay attention to what's happening. More pay less work, the value of hard work is nearly lost in the US

  • @thegroupof99

Also here's a little math for you.

1% of the richest people in the US give all their money to the people. Spread through 99% of America that turns out to be jack shit.

I hopeyou support Obama because before he leaves office he's already making our economy worse by the cuts to the armed forces. Over a million people work in the military and many of them will be losing their jobs, adding to our unemployment numbers even more so.The rich will stay rich, the government must change

  • @thegroupof99 This "unfairness" exists in every sort of scenario. Here is the key. Go to college, get a job, work hard, and succeed! Works every time. You want an excuse for being unmotivated. I am sorry you want Uncle Sam to breast feed you.

  • @MikeEsex..capitalism only works when you have limitless growth and we have reached the limits of what the planet can do 4 us. U R right.. there may always B disparity bt rich and poor, but the differences the 99% R aware of is bt those who care and those who don’t care about the Earth, those who consider themselves 2 B part of the world and those who think they can just exploit everything... If everyone was like the 1% the world would be stuffed... no offence , but do the maths

  • @HydrogenDominion

I call bullshit on what you just said. If the 99% cared about the world they'd be fighting for solar power NOW, for more desalinization plants in major coastal cities NOW, reform the justice system NOW. The only reason we haven't gone solar is because it's not "economical", but that means that once it becomes economical that the price of oil is so HIGH that it becomes an option. Stop fighting your bullshit fight and think about the future of humans as a WHOLE.

  • @MikeEsex MikeEsex. Solar power doesn’t put food on tables. Corps n governments build desalination plants not protesters. U think I’m full of shit bc your head’s full of Shit, I was trying to help U Fool. U have no real empathy at all. U can’t even C everybody is caught in the failing economic system.

  • @HydrogenDominion

Solar power keeps electricity running through homes, hospitals, businesses, police stations, fire departments, etc. Desalinization plants help to keep our agricultural, as well as human water needs in check. We are burning through resources and your idiotic logic doesn't understand if we don't lead the way in renewable energy and water, we'll be leading the charge on more wars for dwindling resources. You need to look at the big picture, not the bullshit the media told you.

  • @MikeEsex Yay! we finally agree on something, I don't believe the corporations Media BS either

  • @MikeEsex please c "Who killed economic growth" by hydrocarbonman147

  • @HydrogenDominion

Please see*. If you're going to try and sell your bullshit to me, at least show me you have the capability to conjugate a sentence. Economic growth went downhill because of the housing market crash that was caused by the Bush administration and a war that drained even more of our nations money.

  • @MikeEsex using B,C,U,2,4 etc as mini abbreviations simply allows a person 2 Say More.. U DICK ! BTW U suck@Economics so don't lecture on the topic

  • @MikeEsex Actually, the 1% are paying record low taxes. And coincidentally, our country is money starved right now.

  • @bek12

Also coincidentally, we've voted for national healthcare coverage while voting to LOWER taxes. Funny how not having enough money means we can't afford stuff like national health care, but we pass it through anyway then when shit hit's the fan we want the rich to pay for everything. Our economy went in the toilet when the government took away regulations on housing loans, leading to the crash of the housing market.

  • @MikeEsex The rich are paying record low taxes right now, but I agree with you about the lack of regulation on housing loans. If when you say "national healthcare coverage" you mean the Affordable Care Act (i.e. "Obamacare"), that actually ends up MAKING us money within a decade or so, so it's not a financial burden at all.

  • @bek12

What the hell are you talking about? The only way for "Obamacare" to work is by paying higher taxes, as the actual system of the Affordable Care Act puts private insurance agencies on shaky ground which effects everyone. For something like that we need higher taxes, not tax cuts. For something to start making money, money needs to be spent on it and the amount needed isn't being spent. That's why Canada has such high taxes on everything, to pay for these costs.

  • @MikeEsex Clearly, it's good that you ask me what am I talking about. "Obamacare" pays for itself using preventative care, requiring people to get coverage, eliminating subsidies for the horribly wasteful Medicare Plus program, and other means. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that Obamacare will reduce the deficit by $210 billion over 10 years. Read that again--it not only pays for itself, but reduces the deficit by an additional $210 billion dollars. Read more than right-winger sites.

  • there have to be big corporations for two reasons:

    1. they produce jobs

2.They produce products or distribute products

without corporations we would never advance there would be no computers, no cell phones, no ipods. And yes someone has to be at the head of it all aka the innovator someone who comes up with the ideas. without corporations our economy will be destroyed. yes someone will become rich and god forbid they the money to their loved ones rather than protestors

  • @sodaiznice couldnt they also profit if they hired americans instead of shipping out jobs? banks are big business too, and they had huge profits for being bailed out because of interest free loans. banks go bankrupt and get virtually free loans then charge extreme interest rates and foreclose homes without even having a fucking title. yes, we need big business, but we need it to be fair to people.

  • @chumleechumlee corporations do profit from hiring americans but at the same time they profit more from employees that dont have the same minimum wage requirements as americans... if the minimum wage was lower they would be able to hire far more people than they can right now...and yet people at occupy wall street want to raise the minimum wage which will effectively cause even more job loss...fucking morons

  • @chumleechumlee and banks are only good if people are willing to work with them...the people of America tend to ask for loans then refuse to pay the banks back...which is why banks need to be bailed out because of stupid bitches asking for money then never paying them back so in response they either charge extra interest or they just refuse the loan..then people bitch even more when it is their own damn fault...occupiers are stupid as shit

  • @sodaiznice there are cases where people lost their jobs and had to refinance their homes at lower rates, you know, temporarily, and after a while the banks said they wouldnt accept payments anymore, even though the people found jobs and tried to pay the original amount. how does that make the people stupid as shit? most of the foreclosures are because of the inability to pay because of job loss and banks not caring to allow them to refinance.

  • @chumleechumlee In these cases the person who lost their job probably bought a house that they could only barely afford, and if you were to add the loss of a job into that equation then how is said person going to be able to afford that house..and the longer you put off the payments then the more you will have to pay in the end...if the bank sees that you aren't going to be able to pay off your debts it will cut you off fast...

  • @sodaiznice fine, but shouldnt the banks - the professionals - also be held responsible for giving out loans greater than the person can afford? they have financial records, credit scores, and professional knowledge and not only approve but also encourage people to take out bigger loans than they can afford because of the increase in interest that spikes with missed payments. same as with credit cards.

  • @chumleechumlee why should the banks be held responsible? this is the real world and a bank would prefer someone who miss payment(but still pay). than people who pay them on time because then they have to pay even more. People have to be smart with their own money, and in the end all of the responsibility should lie with them.. people are in charge of their own future whoever influences them to make certain decisions doesn't matter because the person still gets the final say

  • @sodaiznice obviously banks are businesses, but people believe that they should do whats good and make deals off of that, and banks should do that. peoples influences are actually very important in the outcome of events in ways that one person cant control. yes people should make their own futures but banks interfere with that by for the most part scamming financially uneducated people. theres a reason why schools rarely teach economic classes before college, public or private.

  • @chumleechumlee Banks are not scamming anybody..They tell the person beforehand what they are getting into, the whole grand scheme of things is mapped out right in front of a person and if that person looks at that map and says that it is right for him/her than that is on on that person not the bank...obviously banks give you a plan that you can afford otherwise the bank wouldn't get paid...the banks dont lie and they dont scam(if they do to you your going to the wrong bank)

  • @sodaiznice no, they give you what you cant so that variable interest rates kick in which it will put in its many clauses. there are loopholes everywhere. variable interest rates arent a scam if they dont allow you to go back to the old rates if you become able to pay them again? you clearly dont really know what youre talking about if you think banks give you what you can afford. next thing you say is gonna be credit cards want you to pay on time so they dont have to charge you high interest.

  • @sodaiznice how do you think banks profit so much? they steal homes, yes steal, because in some cases they dont even have titles on homes they foreclose. thats not a scam? how about once you get in enough debt with either banks or credit cards it becomes near impossible to pay it off. credit card debt, once you miss a payment it adds the higher interest not only to that due but every charge made after without telling you that it does. that goes against what you tried to say about they map it out

  • @chumleechumlee so how is it not a scam? all big businesses scam in some way or another, the problem is the government is paid by them (if you disagree who do you think pays for campaigns?) so what the hell are they gonna do if its not spread on the news that businesses are killing people's wallets? the news wont spread until they know the story will spread widely via other communications because news is so biased.

  • @chumleechumlee unfortunately I have to go to work so my response will be small for now but I will expand on it later..scam definition "a dishonest scheme; a fraud".. the banks tell you what you are getting into they aren't being dishonest and there is no fraud..it is the own persons fault..and yes banks will find ways to get you to pay off your debt, by any means necessary...there is a larger point tht im trying to make but I dont have the time right now to say it i'll bbl

  • @sodaiznice i am aware that it is all written out, but my point is that most people will not understand what is being said where its written as is intended by the banks and will believe that the banks will assist them if they hit trouble.

  • @chumleechumlee what can a bank do? give another loan? let them pay over an extended period of time where they will end up paying more? look this is a useless argument..it is entirely opinion based..you believe that banks should be responsible for other peoples spending, while I believe that the person is responsible for how much they spend...and dont bother putting credit card debt in the mix. that is just people spending money they dont have..credit cards are stupid

  • @sodaiznice i agree it is a difference of opinion, and i can tell i will never get you to change yours so this is probably my last response, but my point is banks should not be looking for profit in foreclosure as they currently are. let them use the stock market solely. credit cards are stupid, i agree there too, but they are designed to catch people and keep them forever in debt. that goes back to personal finance not being taught in schools enough until college, and banks line up for freshmen

  • @sodaiznice in college before they can learn how to spend wisely.

  • @sodaiznice and foreclosing without a title, dont forget that one.

  • @sodaiznice omg are you brainwashed! you must be a banker, ther'es not other logical explanation for you stickin up for corporate crooks. either that or you're highly invested on wall street -- I smell people like you a continent away.... happy landings.

  • @GrannyTenderstone I'm brainwashed?

i'm thinking for myself...i look at the situation and know that if I dont spend money like a fucking retard I wont go broke...I dont blame other people for my own financial mistakes...this is psychology 101: you are blaming the "1%" for your inability to be the "1%"..I am not brainwashed you are...you're brainwashed by the people who are telling you its not your fault when it is. so shut the fuck up

  • "I Don't Want To Work...I Just Bang On The Drum All Day!"

    Todd Rundgren

  • @AssHatSockPuppet: That's what they say on Wall Street.

  • @AssHatSockPuppet Please get this word out to all Wall Street Protestors. From now on when theyare confronted with threats from the police start 'Bleeting' like sheep! I want to see and hear the bleeting on sky news etc, i want to hear the bleeting from all corners of the world.

  • Jeez, lighten up people. Can't an artist have a voice anymore????

  • Amen to that!!!!! Awesome!!

  • This could be the worst thing that's happened to NYC since 9/11...

  • There is nothing wrong with unions, they are there to protect workers from being exploted !

  • @NorthWestVideos75 : We completely agree. The satirical lines about unions in the song are meant to show how people forget and/or miss the point about what's good for them.

  • Awesome job, great video, great signs, great song.

I would buy the song but unfortunately my bank account is in the negative of 43 dollars at the moment and has been closed and moved into collections.

    Bank accounts are overrated anyway.....

  • @legalizeganjanow420 : We're fighting for you, man. Hang in there. You can listen to the song anytime you want for free right here. Good luck.

  • Let the guy make a buck. Why you mad if this fucking guy makes some money? Making music is HARD WORK!

  • To All OCCUPY PORTLAND OREGON : Please pay ATTENTION What is needed is everyone needs to get together . Go to The HOUSE OF CONGRESS in WASHINGTON D.C. that can in buses, airplane, cars, trucks or hitchhike up there. Reason being that they are the ones who have passed the laws that is affecting all of us the 99 percent of today! If you are really serious about this needs to put a hurry up and Occupy in front the House of Congress they are i control of the banks and etc

  • @mariademomentumplus a better argument would be that big business is in control of government. but yeah, gov't is failing to enforce regulations but that is because they are having their strings pulled by banks, corps, etc.

  • Question: can anyone actually EARN a million dollars? Consider what $1million can buy, say, 1million cans of beans--could one person rent the equipment, grow the crop, harvest, prep, can, pay expenses for all one million cans by himself and save $1 million? Don't think so. A million can only be made through currency manipulation and getting others to work FOR you. This creates the fundamental imbalance in the economy which, when multiplied by credit, gives us the crazy inequities we struggle with.

  • @thegroupof99

To answer your question, yes. You can earn a million dollars. I did last year, without having to manipulate anything. I dropped out of high school when I was 16. Got my GED @ 17. Went to a trade school for 1 year and hated it. Started out at an entry level company for 25K per year. Worked there in various positions for a couple years before realising that my calling was in sales. Life is what you make of it. If I listened to all the negativity, who knows what would have happened?

  • @Talent2008 : Congratulations. This is not meant to denegrate your accomplishments, and I wish you well, but no one in sales "earns" a million. I'm sure you worked hard and feel like you earned it, but many work harder and don't earn nearly that much. In sales the manipulation is done for you by management and the ones who produce what you sell. You have skills that are highly prized but someone must work harder than his share, or credit manipulation must occur, for you to be paid "extra."

  • @thegroupof99

In sales, you have to work smarter, not harder. At my company, we all have the same pay rate. Those who sell more, earn more. As for this whole "occupy" thing, the problem is that the rich are taxed to much, too often. Studies show that the lower the tax rate, the more the Gov't collects, since they will be less inclinded to evade taxes. My tax rate is 35%, and I haven't received a tax refund in 8 years. Someone making 45K a year only pays about 12.5% after their refund.

  • @Talent2008: I would be in favor of a tax code that reduces rates but obliterates all loopholes. Most people in Occupy agree. That's not the "problem" with Occupy. The "problem" remains the deeply entrenched imbalance of wealth. 5% of the people controlling 95% of the wealth is a mad and unstable way to run a society. I'm glad you're working smarter but it doesn't change the basic equation "production must equal consumption." The wealthy don't produce equal to their ability to consume.

  • @Talent2008 thats why companies like ExxonMobil, Bank of America, etc. dont pay fed income taxes and still get tax refunds worth hundreds of millions of dollars. bank of america was bailed out w/ virtually interest free loans, then went on to get $1.9B rebate, and $4.4B profits. then they go and charge extremely high interest rates to everyone else. how about charging them the same interest rates on the $1T they were bailed out with?

  • @chumleechumlee

Although those companies are reported to pay no federal taxes, they pay a substantial amount in other taxes, such as payroll taxes, pass-through dividends, etc. BofA is a weird story. They got bailed out, but that's because of people that bailed out on them. One thing that nobody can argue is that this whole collapse started with homeowners who defaulted on their mortgage. People bought houses they knew they couldn't afford and BofA let them. Both need to share the blame.

  • @Talent2008 Great job ! I know the sales biz and you can be a lazy dirtbag (or just talentless) and earn very little or a "producer" and make big bucks. I have a very small biz and can't hire anyone because they want me to be broke (my reward for busting my can to get the biz going) while i shell out all of my profits to the workers like they are the company founders...not gonna happen, I downsized and now do all the work myself, money now goes to me too......

  • @kevp951

A good sales rep will demand higher compensation, but will also be perfectly fine with being a full time W-2 employee. That way, the only money that they make is based off of money they make you, the owner. Always question a sales rep that wants a huge salary.

  • Stand by my first comment....remove the BUY ME HERE link and then you'll get what I am talking about...right now you're using a movement to try and make a buck...

  • @dblmusicvideos Nonsense. Someone spreading the message and wanting to be mildly compensated for it is not 'using the movement'. You need to get over this notion that everything you dont like is counter-revolutionary. If this is really the "99%" you need to learn to accept a LOT of diversity of opinion and approach. You appear happier to attack your potential allies than the real enemy.

  • Hey, thanks a lot for your song!

    Great work!

    SF

  • @stenfisher : Thank you!

  • I think you are missing the point be trying to CAPITILIZE ON THE MOVEMENT. YOU paid for an ad to promote your song that has a link to buy your song...way too much dude, its a good song but you turned me off trying to make a buck, i wouldn't usually call someone out like this but really? If you truly are a supporter give the song away....here's my tune FREE for the people to use,a theme that follows the theme search WE OCCUPY by DBL

sorry to do this but you missed the point

  • @dblmusicvideos : This is a public video. Music is pulled off YouTube all the time for free. Other groups have asked permission to use the song in their own productions about Occupy - permission has always been granted for free. If people like the song enough to buy it to help defray the cost of promoting the message (way underwater on this) that's not hypocrisy. All in Occupy are "capitalizing" in the sense that they want their financial lives to be better. & you used our page to push your song

  • President Obama called Wall Street bankers “fat cats” and says he's a "warrior" for the middle class. The numbers show who he's really fighting for. Under Obama, Wall Street has generated over $85 billion in profits in 2.5 years. Under Bush, they generated $77 billion for the entire 8 years he was in office. Obama has also received more 2012 campaign donations from the “fat cats” than all GOP candidates combined. "LIKE" if you think Obama is a "fat cat" in disguise, not a warrior for the middle

  • @JawsJaws : I'm not sure whose profits you're referring to. Both numbers actually seem rather small to me. Nevertheless, the President's constitutional powers to affect Wall Street are minute compared to those of Congress. Obama can only propose legislation and the Republicans won't let anything get better until the next election. The trouble is, even after the election things won't get better. The true power is in the hands of those who control the ungodly lopsided wealth. Occupy sanity.

  • @thegroupof99 Awesome! I tire of those who imply that the POTUS has or should have power to affect change on such a major
