But this dialogue obviously wasn´t written by a German because the first sentence she says to Eric (though not grammatically wrong) just doesn´t sound right.

@sapirush12 IDK if you've seen the entirety of season 3... but it's explained by Eric in S-3 that they were posing as S.S. so they could investigate "Operation Werewolf"...That's what that brand on her neck represents... if you haven't seen all of season 3 then I don't want to tell you why they were looking into it because it could be a bit of a spoiler for you... But I will tell you that it had to do with Eric's life before being a Vampire.

Aber russischer Akzent klingt für mich anders...Der wäre viel mehr aleveolar betont, evtl. mit Schwierigkeiten beim Aussprechen des "h's".

@Stelmaria21 I noticed that as well, either that or they laid a different voice over it. Her voice sounds familiar but I didn't recognize her face. She could be American though, Allan Cumming managed a pretty convincing german accent and language in X2 so it's not entirely impossible. Although her "wir sind do alle die gleichen" was a bit weird way of saying "we are on the same side". I am pretty sure they didn't talk that way back then.

And Eric doesn't say 'No, we're not', he says' No, we're not the same [kind]'

The difference is, that you could think they work for different groups or with a special aim. But the Girl actually just refers to their beeing 'supernatural creatures' (the same) to be reprieved by the vampires.

Okay, when we first meet eric, he has long hair; in 1945, his hair was short; a vampire's hair doesn't grow because it's dead; if he cuts it, supposedly it will grow right back (like Jessica's bitten nails and busted hymen) to how it was. A bit of inconsistency.

The creator of the show said for the purposes of the show their hair grows like it did when they were alive. In the books, though, whatever haircut you had when you died was what you were stuck with for eternity. It is a cheap way to allow the characters to change, though.

Übrigens ergibt der Satz den Russel Edgington, der king of mississippi, in der neuesten Folge gesagt hat, gar keinen Sinn! Die Aussprache is so mies, dass ich es als Muttersprachler nichmal versteh! Bad Vocalcoach!

@TheTHchiX ganz genau das hab ich mir auch gedacht. die kommt mir n bisschen fehl platziert vor. und bei dieser folge hab ich absolut nicht verstanden, was der gesagt hat, ich brauchte den untertitel und habs mir noch mal angehört. aber wenigstens sprechen sie hier in der szene verständliches deutsch. und ich finde es ziemlich klasse, dass alexander skarsgard ein wenig deutsch kann und es in der serie beweisen darf :)
