I do it as well. Just as long as nothing coming the other way I see no problem with it.

Many people do this in their cars anyway. Just unusual to see someone do it in a bus

@steve802008 but your not in a 32 foot long , 12 ton vehicle.. maybe even with 1-25 passengers on board when you do that... it may not stop as fast as your 1 and a half ton 18 foot car.. you never know when someone is crossing or going to make a last second decision to turn anyways because there were no cars in that lane. That was plain dumb on his part.. he wasnt going at a safe pace either, he had to speed up to not hit anybody trying to turn .. just stupid

Theres no big deal in that just as long as you are aware of whats going on. What do you mean you never know if someone is going to cross? Surely you got your eyes open when driving lol! Coach/bus drivers are seated higher up so they can see more of the road, and they are taught to anticipate drivers making split decisions. Not all drivers are perfect though

@superseung it's not that big a deal. the oncoming lane was a left turn lane, so it ends in a few yards and he'll be on the right side again.
