I think he is a great film director. His films all have a sense of gritty realism and they are all shot beautifully. I think he is a much better filmmaker then an actor, but I still like Mel Gibson nonetheless. People, forget about his personal life, his job is not to be a 'personality' star, his job is to be a director and actor. But I personally think he should be behind the camera making his films for now.
