  • Using what you have... love it! No need to spend big bucks on all those bullet proof maxpedition type molly gizmos that weight more than what you put in in them. I found a Remington Glenwood Canyon modular waiste pack on clearance at Walmart for $11. It has four velcro detatchable mini pouches including water bottle holder. The main two compartments are 761 cu in. The mini pouches should put it well over 1,000. Very versitile. Thanks for sharing!

  • I have been wanting to go ultralight on day hikes and been looking at various fanny packs. What is the cubic inches of this set-up?

  • @titan90000

This is an older fanny pack that they dont make anymore so I am guessing approx 800-900 cubic inches.

  • @charper3006 Thanks for the reply. Too bad they don't make it anymore. That is about the size I am looking at getting.

  • @titan90000

Keep checking around. There are several different brands out there similar in size.
