  • @carcembero666 Try cmsnl.com and good luck

  • Honestly these were considered 'Gay' back in the day.

  • That would be a nice 550 if you shined it up a bit and got it runnin' better. I thought mine looked good, till I saw yours. I have more work to do, damnnit. Love keepin original.

  • beautiful. love that color.

  • Shurly a K5 at this age ,,, ?

  • Sweet! Hear and see one on the road here: Clymer 1971 Honda CB500 Four

  • Now that is a nice bike!

  • Beautiful example of a fine motorcycle of the era! Well balanced, with just right power and weight. I can say that because my own a CB550 in 1973 and it was a great ride!

  • Oh man... Fantastic!

How does that behave regarding vibrations? Is it very heavy on the hands?

  • I bought one right out of the showroom for $1500 in 1974/ Drove the pup home in a rainstorm. Loved that bike

  • Moto bellissima!

  • this was my the first Honda bike at age 16 in japan.

  • this was my the first honda bike at age 16 in japan.

  • @taka3000 for how much u bought ??

  • @tackiee9 I didnßt bought this bike, I let it restore. This was my father's bike, and he bought it in 1977.

  • @tackiee9 I didn't buy this bike, I let it restore. This was my father's bike and he bought it in 1977.

  • O VENDEDOR OU O DONO SAO VIADO.......

  • hey i came across one that is a little beat up but imma get it next to notinng i was wondering if u can tell if possible how much it costs u and was it hard to get any of the parts

  • @PuRpLexHaZe420 It's not to get the parts, execpt the rear handle to pull the bike on the stand, which is not original, this is the handle of the K1. The rear handle for the passenger is rare to find, it is unaavailable as far as I know

The cost depends on how you want to restore the bike, there are people who make a conservative restoring and this is not expensive.

  • @algor65 well the one i found is good.... paint a little dull, rusty wheels, muffler rotten, needs a battery and a good cleaning but my friends says it runs cuz he worked on it .....originally doesnt have blinkers or mirrors and i might swap something for it so yea thnks

  • @PuRpLexHaZe420 yeah its hard to get parts i cant find any for mine an all i got is the motor setting on a fl350 frome

  • are those stock speedo and tac

  • @andaconda91 yes all is original except the mirrors, the handgrips and the rear handle to pull the bike up on the stand.

  • @andaconda91 and oviously also the two exhausts, this is normal...

  • Beautiful BIKE mate

  • Beauuutiful!!!

  • Really nice bike, but it can´t be 1977. They just made the CB 500 Four until 1974.

  • @NPMCaptain I think you are right, though I mean the year of first registration.

  • @algor65 Ok, it hapenned a lot. Congrats for your bike, instead you did indoor film (echo) the engine sound looks better than a orchestra :) Powerful.

  • @NPMCaptain I think its a 77' cb550 with pre 74' cb500 side covers

  • @KFLY67 I think in the USA and in Europe we had different versions. CB 550 was only for America, we didn't get this. As I said before answering to another guest, this should be one of the bikes produced for Europe in the last year of production, but registered for traffic in 1977.

  • hi @algor65 where do you get the spare parts

  • @rungassamydonovan47 no problem to get them through every Honda dealer, ebay or other web resources, try to seek for the items on ebay

  • Wonderful condition!

  • fantastic motorcycle!,a many years ago I had a CB 500four red year 1975,and I lovely it.Sweet memories for me,good luck man.

  • this bike makes my eyes wet :o)

  • i love it exhaust sound

you can hear every single cylinder firing

  • I have a bike just like that. I loved riding it until someone hit me with her car. When I am in my new house in 2 months I'm starting the rebuild =) It's gonna be awesome.

Is it hard getting new parts like fenders, seat and lights?

  • Nice bike. The Tach, Speedo and paint are from CB 750.

  • troppo bella

    best of jap motors

  • nice bike!

  • your bike is amazing...

    5 stars

  • Thanks, I worked very much on this bike!!!

  • That is one fine looking CB550. I had one many years ago, it was my first bike and I loved it. Generally speaking though, snapping the throttle like that is very bad for the motor. I would avoid doing that unless you want the cam chain to jump time and bend you're valves.

All the same, nice bike. Good luck with it.

  • @SpockOfRock

Thanks for compliments. However it is not a 550, this was sold in the USA, in Europe we had only the 500. You're totally right and thanks for having said this. The reason why I did this during the video is that I didn't want the engine to stop at the end when I left the throttle.

  • @algor65

Hi, beautiful motorbike :D but I think there is something wrong with carburetors or something else, engine doesn't work correctly. Make sure what's wrong to avoid damages of the engine.

    Greets to you! :)

  • @mogorec

I hope you are wrong, but in these days the bike goes with only two cylinders...

So I have to fix it!!!

I'll tell you later... Thanks for your advice!!!

  • @algor65 Firstly check spark plugs, then ignition wires with caps, carburetors (clean them and make sure that the fuel goes through each other)... maybe ignition module..

  • @mogorec spark plugs... you are great!!! thanks for your kind advice!!!

  • @SpockOfRock

Are you serious? Don't snap the throttle on a Honda because you think it might be bad for the motor??? Honda is first and foremost an engine building company. Why don't you tell John Deere not to sell any of their implements if they're gonna be used in less than perfect conditions.
