Wow, I had no idea Dustforce was originally made in Gamemaker. People really don't give that engine enough credit, it's much more powerful than it seems... Well for 2D games at least, it can do just about anything.

Are keys rebindable? Not every keyboard has 'Z' next to 'X' and it's kind of rude to require specific keyboard layout :)

@Shredow2 If you meant "What keyboard doesn't have standard, QWERTY layout?" Then answer is QWERTZ keyboard. QWERTZ is standard keyboard layout in Germany and countries heavily influenced by Germany. Than makes half of Europe including my country.

You can also play this game using a 360 controller, which is a good alternative (my preference) if you're not into the whole keyboard for platformers thing.

i dunno man.... i get mario, i get sonic but i don't get these "precision platformers". when i tried super meat boy, i was very irritated by the fact that that thing was sliding all over the place. "precision" to me somehow implies that you are able to move exactly to a certain point. and that's it. no sliding around. i guess with wall jumps it's understandable but iirc, all controls in super meat boy felt very spongy. but... what the hell. i don't have to play it ;)

Excellent WTF is TB. I've been pondering this game over the last week. Time is not counted towards perfecting a level, only the percentage of stuff cleaned and the deaths-hits are. Speedrunning is only a scoreboard thing.

Super Meat Boy uses digital input, even from an analog gamepad. So I honestly can't see the point in saying the gamepad is better. It just depends on which one you're more used to.

If anything, the gamepad is LESS precise, because you have a small deadzone in which the analog control won't move Meat Boy, and also it takes time to physically move the stick from one side to the other...
