she has a lot of potential! great flexibility and toe point, good turnout, and she seems to be into it! she should try to smile a bit and work on her arm control though :) good job robbie!
Robbie is really good at ballet for her age! Did anyone not notice the tall girl at the back at 3:19 like trying to stand en pointe WITHOUT pointe shoes?!? Now that seems a bit dodgy! Well done to robbie though!
@Jayniieex I did notice that! That was weird. You could hurt yourself.
I loved the chagmas (I don't know how to spell ballet terms sometimes)! They looked really good:) It seems like Robbie's more of a jumper than a spinner. I could be wrong, though, but I just wanted to say that I am, too. I can't even do a double pirouette yet, but anything that involves jumping is fine.
She's doing well!Make sure her arms don't look tense. More "flowy" and soft. And also, when she battemons (spell check, I can't spell) to the back, she needs to keep her back up, but most people need to work on that. She's very talented thoughm very promising. =)
Robbie is doing really great! I absolutely love her ronde dajambes...(i think I spelled that wrong...) Just make sure that her standing leg is fully turned out. :)
She used to but hasn't had time since summer. She has been taking privates for pilates here and there though to fix some core issues, her wiggles etc. This video is at califonia ballet.
I think it goes up to ballet 7- the girls are about 15-16 in there maybe? Ballet 4 is where they start pointe but some are ballet 4 no pointe. Robbie is 3/4 with pointe. But she only gets about an hour a week on pointe when no privates.
Most seen here are 12-13 I'd guess? Some are tall/short for their age so it's hard to tell. There are also some 11 year olds, more ten year olds and one 9 year old but I don't think they are in this clip. It's ballet level 3.
Just one thing. This could be just me, but in the first exercise it looks as if she is trying to acheive height rather than placement. It looks as if she is wobbling on her legs a little. I think she needs to hold in her centre, but again this could just be me.
I'm sorry if I was wrong...
If she keeps up the good work, she will make an excellent ballerina :)
is robbie in russian ballet there or regular? she does such an amazing job all the time!!!!!!!

these girls seem sort of old for ballet 3? what is the highest level at your studio? I Jr. Instruct ballet 3 at my studio and they are about 6-8

Yes - she has been corrected for trying to go to high rather than have proper form on standing leg. Thanks for your tips. ;)

She actually just got a correction for this today in ballet 4. ;)

It looks likes she's the best in the class, but is with girls older than her! She needs to work on her arms, but hey, she's only 10!!! It'll come. =)

I know - those arms ;) We have had several good tips to help with them. Hopefully, as you said, it will come with age.
