I like your tutorial. just a little hint tho. You probably know this already, but you know you can create Multiple tracks at once in the bottom section of create track. Another thing is, you can create folder tracks and then use folder tracks on your drum line to Copy + paste the folder block rather then worrying about the whole drum line.

1.nobody works on double bass lines anymore, everybody works on trio basslines and for better dynamic, first tone just pull dow the velocity.

2.Never use same hihats for fast dynamics and for kick makeover, it can gives you terible peacks!!

You can build a track whichever way you want.

you can make music like that sampling them with midi or wave forms you builded.

or play it with a synthsizer with buildin patches or sound modules. Most of the trance is made with samples and sush. but the psytrance like infected mushrooms and prodigy uses allot of self made soun samples with allot of "hardware sound module patches" like the old vintage drummachines or JV2080's etc

revers it , put some reverb on it

well i guess the crash is just a sample, I meant the sort of swoosh or whatever...it goes allong the crash...its like when you instantly move a slider on a mixer all the way up from zero..is it an automation?

I dont exactly know how cubase works cuz am using ableton but i guess the principle should be the same.

maybe you could post a tutorial on these effects ;)

The "Swoosh" is just a Reversed crash.

Maybe try to make the sounds you want...the best you can with your mouth then record that noise and try to imitate it with the synths...let me know if you try it and that works...because thats what I have been thinking of doing..I just havent tried it yet.. ;)

are you writing in beats and bars? i cant seen to get my placement properly how do you get it to be like yours on the top, you know, where it started off and you laid out the 8 beats, i think it goes, 1 ( 123) 2(123) 3, and how do you get your beats to move one bar the the side, i havent figured that out yet, thanks for the tutorial, this is great :)
