  • Caution to all, capacitors retain electrical power even with the amp unplugged--these need to be discharged before you mess with them. I like the idea of those Blitz rags--I've always used rags with Lemon oil and the last until the fabric starts to shred (many many years), and a bottle of Lemon Oil lasts a long time too--use sparingly, you don't want it soggy.

  • thanks again, keep the vids coming!

  • thanks! Needed info here!

  • @SuperGuitarpractice Since this vid, I figured out how simple it was to replace a 2 prong with a 3 prong cord. Don't read the internet or you will get confused. Just put the white wire where the old white wire was, same for the black, and put the green ground wire on the power transformer mounting bolt with a ground washer and nut and your done. If you are playing multiple amps, you only need one of the amps with a 3 prong plug otherwise you may fight some ground looping problems

  • Hey dude that was so cool The Blize Rag But even better I was just trying to put a 3 prong plug on my vintage amp & found your tip thats the best nice amp u got,Thanks Keep em coming..
