  • Carolyn, thank goodness I found your channel. I am usually intimidated by cooking and often times when I try recipes they are hit or miss. Followed this recipe to the letter and let me tell you I was so impressed. Your instructions are clear and concise and most of all this was very delicious. I bought $20 worth of short ribs and after dinner not a thing was left but the bones! Love the Grand Diamond ! Thank you for sharing your talents with the culinary challenged like me! God Bless!

  • @BKBrownBombshell Wow! No, thank you for being willing enough to give me and Grand Diamond a try :) I'm glad you found some recipes that will make you feel at ease in the kitchen.

  • @1979kenward It's a Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon blend. If you can't find this one wine that is blended just buy a bottle of each and measure accordingly. I'm going to post the link to the recipe.

  • @CookingWithCarolyn please me this recipe please

  • Carolyn I don't use any kind of wine so on can I use any broth

  • @wpderonn Yes you can go ahead and use a low sodium beef broth :)

  • my my bomb ass kitchen! I'd love to cook in that kitchen! great recipe...

  • This recipe is delicious. Is there somewhere to get a print out of it?

  • @jmbielski Yes! I'm going to add the link in the info box. Thanks!

  • Very nice!

  • @TruthSmack Thanks!

  • 2 words ... WOW and YUMMY!!

  • Is there a substitute for the wine?

  • @godivagurl86 You can go ahead and use a low sodium beef broth. Thanks for watching :)

  • what if u have a dutch oven ? when do you transfer the wine and onion mix?

  • @jurmain2 Oh if you have a dutch oven, use it from start to finish also. Those things are really great heat conductors. Go for it!

  • I am so loving your pot and pan set...what brand and model or style is that? Please...

  • @GR8GUY54 Believe it or not we got this set at Costco. I also love "Cook's Essentials" found on QVC.com for great prices. You can buy pieces or whole sets, nonstick or stainless steel. When I'm on their website I have a good time looking :)

  • Looks good, can you use anything beside the wines.

  • @Cwest2930 Yes, you can use all beef stock, maybe one that's low sodium so you can control the amount of salt going into the dish. Glad you liked the recipe :)

  • great tips, good way to cook meat if you can't Q it up! love the video!

  • @JimboJitsu Thanks :)

  • Im so gonna have to try this...*adds to my favorites* Thank you.

  • Thanks so much for this recipe!! Last time I tried to make short ribs they cooked forever and they were still as tough as boot leather. LOL

  • @branfriend5 Well hopefully this one will work out for ya :)

  • So do you share your finished product with your camera person? Hahahaha.. that looks AWESOME!!! I love boneless short ribs. You're the ONLY person I've ever heard say "Worcestershire" without stumbling lolol. *Drooling* yesss!! I could watch you cook for hours lol. That looks so goooood!!

  • @Shyloh8 For the most part YES lol. Sometimes I make things that some of the crew don't like so that's more for everybody else :) I'm glad you liked the recipe!

  • Yummy!

  • OOOOOOOO Ima do this with some Oxtails!! I can taste them already!!

  • @ItsMeFawn Yes indeed, I actually have done them this way all so.

  • Finger looking good.I am going to cook this one day. Thanks

  • I just ate a ton and this is making me hungry!

  • looks great.. did you move? ur set up is different :-)

  • @jamise79 No I didn't move, just a change of scenery cooking at my Uncle Ellis'. He has a great kitchen.

  • That looks so good thank you for the video

  • @MsKoKoATL Yes it very well can. When cooking with wine and allowing it to reduce the alcohol burns off. Wine is used in alot of commercial products like salad dressings and even some dijon mustards, but it's cooked down. No real harm to our babies :)

  • Hey Carolyn! Grand Diamond is awesome! It takes the guess work out of seasoning and goes perfectly with all my meats and poultry.

  • @tippi410 Fabulous! I'm so glad you love GDS and you're using it in your dishes. That is our intention...to try to save people some time in the kitchen :) I'll be looking forward to seeing your recipes on 771food.com

  • Looks soo good, I am hungry.

  • Carolyn, you are making me hungry.. :) again! what brand of olive oil do you use??

  • @dianemummvideos I use extra virgin olive oil most of the time. I really don't have a specific brand because they vary in sizes and prices. Costco or Sam's are probably going to be the better deals for both the quantity and the price.

  • nice recipe

  • Looks great!

  • Oh wow.Loved it.
