Carolyn, thank goodness I found your channel. I am usually intimidated by cooking and often times when I try recipes they are hit or miss. Followed this recipe to the letter and let me tell you I was so impressed. Your instructions are clear and concise and most of all this was very delicious. I bought $20 worth of short ribs and after dinner not a thing was left but the bones! Love the Grand Diamond ! Thank you for sharing your talents with the culinary challenged like me! God Bless!
@BKBrownBombshell Wow! No, thank you for being willing enough to give me and Grand Diamond a try :) I'm glad you found some recipes that will make you feel at ease in the kitchen.
@1979kenward It's a Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon blend. If you can't find this one wine that is blended just buy a bottle of each and measure accordingly. I'm going to post the link to the recipe.
@GR8GUY54 Believe it or not we got this set at Costco. I also love "Cook's Essentials" found on QVC.com for great prices. You can buy pieces or whole sets, nonstick or stainless steel. When I'm on their website I have a good time looking :)
@Cwest2930 Yes, you can use all beef stock, maybe one that's low sodium so you can control the amount of salt going into the dish. Glad you liked the recipe :)
So do you share your finished product with your camera person? Hahahaha.. that looks AWESOME!!! I love boneless short ribs. You're the ONLY person I've ever heard say "Worcestershire" without stumbling lolol. *Drooling* yesss!! I could watch you cook for hours lol. That looks so goooood!!
@Shyloh8 For the most part YES lol. Sometimes I make things that some of the crew don't like so that's more for everybody else :) I'm glad you liked the recipe!
@MsKoKoATL Yes it very well can. When cooking with wine and allowing it to reduce the alcohol burns off. Wine is used in alot of commercial products like salad dressings and even some dijon mustards, but it's cooked down. No real harm to our babies :)
@tippi410 Fabulous! I'm so glad you love GDS and you're using it in your dishes. That is our intention...to try to save people some time in the kitchen :) I'll be looking forward to seeing your recipes on 771food.com
@dianemummvideos I use extra virgin olive oil most of the time. I really don't have a specific brand because they vary in sizes and prices. Costco or Sam's are probably going to be the better deals for both the quantity and the price.
do I have the wine and what would you suggest in place of wine
