I love this song!!! It's my all time favorite flute piece ever and I can't wait to learn to play it!!!!!! If nobody has ever heard it before, you should listen to Emma play it, her username is GeoRockMin if you can't find her... but this little girl is amazing. And at the time she was only 7 years old.

I've been listening to some of Caen Thomason-Redus' works, and they're awesome! He's basically like a younger James Galway. :P.. He's got a different style in his vibrato and dynamics. I'd want to see him play in person, and be his student. :P

ugh, i have to do this for my final in wind ensemble & for honor band :( the runs are going to kill me! i like this song though, but i personally like having the beginning a little slower.

you should check out flute concerto no. 1 in G major by mozart. we had to play it last year for the final & honor band. its insane! but really cool!

When I first got this piece, I thought the cadenza was going to be the hardest part in the whole song... then I started playing it and I realized that I was totally, completely dead wrong. And this performance makes me feel bad because I still stumble like a beginner over those damn septuplets and junk.

Yep very hard piece but it sounds really impressive and the flautist here makes it look easy. Its not this is my 8th grade list C and i got 2 and a half weeks ago I still don't know how i'm going to do it or rather how its physically possible but in saying that i'm 15 and I realise most of all that It's SOOOOOOOOO beautiful. Its a masterpiece I love the gentile beginning and end and all the bits in between are fun but the beginning and end are almost angelic

Wow that was absolutely incredible! I have just started learning this for my first level diploma and I seriously needed a proper recording to help me through! I thought your performance was amazing, your vibrato control I thought almost made the performance, when the piece modulates into Bb you just made my heart stop! I loved your control in the complex sections too, I can say I'm not really looking forward to learning the semi-quaver triplets or the final section!
