can you play different parts of the cymbals and high hats to make differnt noises, like the bell, nd the low tone when you hit the bottom of a ride. and when you can play the high hat on the side and on the top it is different, i just wna know because i cant tell with all the vids i have seen.

I use to have that set. thought it was better than the Roland TD-8 I have now. But never liked the pads. What software are u using with that?

The rubber pads are really kind of a preference. However, if can get this set for $400 that is a good deal and you can upgrade the pads later.
