Hm, I have extremely wavy hair, its practly curly-ish... And I have 5 layers.. It helps me control it more, and straightening is easier..

I used this because I'm in Orchestra, and I go with half-up teased hair with curls on the bottom, and my hair looks cute like tht..

@WeTryWeFail You can tease your hair with curly or wavy hair to make more volume. But only brush the parts you'd really want to be bigger so you don't mess up the curls you have; I do it al lthe time.:)

My hair is so thick and heavy that your style would not do, I have to spray first and then tease and then spray again afterwards and it holds up for a couple of hours, but it was interesting to see how you do yours and your hair is baby fine

the weird thing is im a hair stylist, and i would never tell someone with curly hair that they cant get short layers, short layers helps curly hair bounce more, instead of being weighed down and blah. i love curly hair with short layers, wouldnt have it any other way

@chipmunksongs1203 teasing doesnt damage your hair if you do it right. I wouldn't recommend a comb actually because that damages your hair more

Swarzchkopf makes an amazing mattifying powder called DUST IT. Sprinkle the powder on your roots and use a teasing comb. Works amazing. and has great staying power.

Hey.I was just wondering if by doing so it would spoil your hair or not(according to my mum it will). Oh and my hair is too soft(which sometimes is not a good thing cause it's too flat and boring) and straight, so if I comb it backward, it will fall back into place again not stay at the way I want it to be. So does it mean that if I were to do whatever you did right, I would need to apply more hairspray? And if I did, will it stay that way for the whole day? Love most of your videos btw =)
