But remember when Peyton was on team brucas? Before brooke got back with lucas in season 3, peyton really didn't seem to mind herself in encouraging brooke to give lucas another go. At least in season 2, brooke asked peyton if she was sure there would be no more love triangles. And of course, peyton sounded so sure that she wouldn't fall for lucas again peyton convinced brooke that she'd never hurt brooke again... but she did in season 3-4 anyway. talk about being self centred.
