All these images came from a book by Marc Okkonen, called Baseball Uniforms of the 20th Century. Regarding the Wolverines, if you haven't already, try the library at the Baseball Hall of Fame. All uniforms I've seen so far of those Wolverines teams are very simple white jerseys with collars, with block letters spelling "DETROIT" on the front. The 1887 uniforms had thin pinstripes.
