  • @nandarchua The best type of pin is one with a larger head on it. A glass head pin would be perfect!

  • Well done! You make it look sooo easy! Let's hope my efforts don't end up looking like something more Halloween rather than Christmas LOL!!!

  • what if u dont have a glue gun around, can you use school glue?

  • @IndigoCat17

Yep! You sure can use school glue-it will take more time for the glue to dry. You may want to hold whatever you are gluing together in your hand for a few minutes for the glue to begin to dry.

  • it's so nice...!!

  • I think that was very nice teaching and I a nice idea you go girl

  • Awesome video! Love it! I've been trying to figure out how to do this for a while. It's so easy.

  • I have one of these my Nana made some 20+ years ago...and it's a real treasure! Thank you for posting this video! I've always wondered how my Nana made it & unfortunately cannot ask her since she has passed on. THis will be fun to do with the kids! :o)

  • i have made these before too...

    yes, urs r very beautiful!

also...i love ur tats....i also have them too

    ART is ART!

  • You mention not to use styrofoam. In Australia, that's what we call what you have pictured - styrofoam balls. I made these in the 80s and that's exactly what we used. Just for the Aussies out there!!

  • Styrofoam can crumble or break easily if cut incorrectly.

Also, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a study several years ago stating that cutting styrofoam releases chemicals into the air that in certain quantities can be toxic and contribute to global warming (thus, totally freaking people out because so many chew their styrofoam cups). Studies are inconclusive, but use of styrofoam has decreased dramatically here in the States.

  • great idea!

  • Rockin' craftster old-school style... My Mom made those in the 80's! Love it!
