The problem is the three big time ball hogs on the Knicks, Randolph, Curry, and of course Marbury, will take a lot of shots away from Gallinari. The best thing the Knicks can do is get rid of those three and build their offense around this guy. Also to lower the cap so the Knicks can have a legit shot at Lebron in 2010.

I think this guy could replace David Lee in the lineup. I don't think anybody is going to take Zach Randolph, but Lee has value, we could package him with somebody like Fred Jones for a point guard like Raymond Felton. now i love the pick and even more enjoy the fact that the Knicks have a player other teams will want to model some players after. he's not like Dirk, Dirk plays extremely stiff and cant bring the ball up the floor even half as well.
Here's to hoping he adds some muscle and stays away from injuries..

The problem is the three big time ball hogs on the Knicks, Randolph, Curry, and of course Marbury, will take a lot of shots away from Gallinari. The best thing the Knicks can do is get rid of those three and build their offense around this guy. Also to lower the cap so the Knicks can have a legit shot at Lebron in 2010.

I was skeptical but I think this kid will be better down the line than Eric Gordon or anyone else available. Good mix here lots of nice plays changed my mind on this guy a bit. I doubt he can be a Dirk type player more like Turkoglu or Kukoc which is ok too.

Last year Bellineli was playing behind Baron Davis, Monta Ellis, Kellena Azuibuike, Stephen Jackson. So you can't judge just one year. Andrea is just a fuckin softy.

Wow i am really suprised at the potential that this player has. He can dribble and shoot with a hand in his face. The only problems the nba would find are his post game and atheleticism. But overall i am fairly impressed.

people that say that gallinari is not a good player, they never see him play..
he played in euroleague and in the italian championship, not in college..
it's a lot different because he competed with players with experience (in virtus bologna,my team, last year played alan anderson and travis best..) and not with young guys..
gallo will be a surprise for all you americans..
remember..he is not bargnani...!!!! gallo is 10.000 times better!!

he finishes with two hands. looks to have a beautiful jumper. And all these plays... none are meant for him. Meaning hes creating his own shot which will help him HUGe in the nba.

Another nice point is that hes only 20 with 3 years of pro basketball under the belt (italian league).
I ain't no knicks fan, but im lookin forward to watching this guy play.

whats up bigbuzin555? Knicks Fan here. I do see where you're coming from but I think Gallo has the potential to be a great player. But the dude needs to bulk up BIG TIME. He's got the heart and intensity that other highly rated euros were missing (darko, Bargnani)
Give it some time I think he could end up as a pretty good player.

If Rose is the best player in the Draft, Danilo is the second best player.
-Michael Beasley is young for this league.
-OJ Mayo is undisciplined
-Russell Westbrook is a good player but is not a offensive-player

Problem is, Knicks are already overrun with 1 and 2 guards--they already have too many. They need a big man who can shoot, they don't have one of those. Bottom line--Donnie Walsh knows talent. He says this kid's good, I'll take his word on it.

I think this guy could replace David Lee in the lineup. I don't think anybody is going to take Zach Randolph, but Lee has value, we could package him with somebody like Fred Jones for a point guard like Raymond Felton. This guys jump shot is certainly better than David Lee's and he has potential to get better

i like David Lee he has been the only consistent player on the Knicks. I'd keep him and Nate since Nate's has been getting better as he matured. I would trade Zack, Quentin Richardson, Stephon Marbury, Fred Jones, Malik Rose, Jerome James(he is garbage) Mardy Collins(does he know how to do anything right?)

Things I came to conclude after this video:
He needs to hit the weights a little.
They allow more contact overseas.
He has good handles for a 6'10" combo forward.
He has the nice euro fakes in the post that I love.
He can become the real deal, like a Turkoglu.
I like his basketball IQ for a 19 yr old or a 30 yr old.
For the haters Euro League consists of the same teams that embarrassed the so tough USA basketball and its more physical with versatile big men(reason why were goin w/ small team)
