  • he looks like emile hirsch from the girl next door

  • molto bello il video!! Gallinari è un incredible giocatore!!

  • I'm an italian girl who loves basketball, and I think that Gallinari is the best italian basketball player..do you agree with me??:)

  • Why did the Knicks trade him -__- He's a rising star...

  • Ballhog.im happy the knicks got rid of him

  • Good video

  • Whenever his confidence is really high, Gallinari gets really good. It's not even about his shot not working or not. Whenever he feels confident he shots better, drives more. But when his confidence is done, he starts shooting the ball more.

  • bad song good vid

  • i was a knicks fan, but now i'm a nuggets fan haha

  • Comment removed

  • lol

    Gallinari is my nickname

and this guy can play ball man

  • I met Gallinari, hes a really nice guy, and insanely tall!!!!!

  • Go Danilo!!!

  • galo needs to start playing more like this this season.

  • im not a knicks fan, and im not a italian basketball fan, but somehow i just love watching this guy play!

  • così, a occhio e croce, Fucka se la dovrebbe ricordare la martellata a 2:21...

  • 08.33 is God

  • when u watch this video you shuld play the playlist "best basketball warm up songs" in the background. just search it on youtube. makes the vid so much better!

  • stupendo gallo .. cmq a 2:36 è passsi

  • put rubio on his team those two would make a good one two punch

  • needs more touches...get him the ball nate!

  • Gallo doesn't move fluidly like in this video right now. He seems really stiff, could it be his back still?

  • his back is perfecly working, he has just put on weight because of the nba policy. and also he is playing mostly beyond the arc, so when he penetrates he hasn't got the speed of a fastbreak. with time he'll get less tension and will be always better

  • i think he'll be an all star

  • anthony randolph= crybaby with no bball IQ

  • Comment removed

  • yeah because you can make that statement based on the 20 or so games he actually played, you fucktard. He had some of the best shooting percentages in the ENTIRE nba in the limited time he got so suck a dick faggot

  • ROTFL

  • Smart guy you are.

  • imagine gallo and ricky rubio on the knicks!!

  • he better do shit, or else.... (the knicks will suck.....AGAIN!!!!!)

I say this years draft we get eric maynor!!!!

    GO maynor!

  • LMAO @ 4:14

  • 4:14 to 4:19 is what the rest of the league and fans will be doing, except the Knicks fans of course. We'll be celebratin'!

  • Niccolo' Melli, from Trenkwalder Reggio Emilia, is way better than Danilo Gallinari, and is just 17 years old. 6'9" forward, he can score in many different ways. in this moment is the best italian player.

  • wow i didnt know he could handle the ball so well looks like a point guard out there cant wait till he gets healthy

  • gotta wait till he gets healthy..then we'll see if he is what every one expects him to be..a SOLID player

  • wow yeah hes really good...in italy.....

  • I can watch this mix time after time and not get tired

  • maybe because he's hurt! Duhh

  • the best play is from 1:36 to 1:44

  • suck my dick, you asian piece of shit

  • I admitt that I was one of those idiots that didn't knowmuch about this kid and for that reason I didn't want the knicks to draft him,I was wrong. This kid is sick and he was lookin nice in the summer league. Kid has game.

  • omg 4:34. why are you 6'10 and making people fall with a crossover. lets go knicks.

  • crawford and gallinari will be nice in the backcourt

  • almost every shot in this video is him creating. good sign. His knick team mates are impressed with his ability from what ive read. Should be a lot of fun to see how he does this season.

  • Now that Knicks Before Thomas are now Knicks After Thomas, I have hope for my team! With Danilo, D'Antoni, and Walsh(A Real Professional) the Knicks success has no limit. P.s. Danilo reminds me of a new Tom Chambers. Youtube Tom Chambers if you dont know who he is.

  • Damn! I can't wait to see him play in the Knicks Dress. I think he can bring back success to the big apple! GO DANILO!

  • He's slow because he's tall, but he has unparalleled ball control among any nba player 6-10 and up (that I know of). He won't be taking it up the court instead of Nate and Duhon.

  • he loves that step back

  • I like Danilo but the dunk he made in 1:10 would have been swatted by almost any center pf, or small forward in the NBA....

  • nah wrong

  • you knicks are so lucky to have him. Build around him quickly and you will do very well. For all the people who say he is not superstar material, you guys are being unreasonable. I hope you guys got even more insane demands of beasley and rose from looking at their highlights otherwise you just hating on the euro. The guy is fierce and could have a better career than dirk cause it looks like he doesn't take shit.

  • Unlike Beasley, Danilo can pass and dribble. He probably has a better outside shot than Beasley too. I don't know how both are going to fare (in terms of how well they play), but their games are nothing alike. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

  • If he bulks up he could be a poor man's Michael Beasley.

  • He plays nothing like Michael Beasley.

  • I've heard the Knicks hope to play Danilo at 4, since he's a bit slow to guard most 3's. It'll be easier for him to bulk up than to gain the quickness needed to guard the LeBrons. So his game is likely to change in that event, but I hear you, pretty different games. I bet Danilo picks up post moves pretty easily though, and I bet Beasley would be lights out from outside if he was encouraged to shoot from out there.

  • Auguri Danilo!!!!!!!!!

  • People need to stop calling every Forward who hits jumpshots Dirk. Dirk is dirk, He can put the ball on the floor, he's one of 3 NBA players in HISTORY OVER 6 10 to knock down 1000 3 pointers in his career and thats that. Gallinari is average, I think the NBA will prove too physical for him, Look at Pau Gasol..An even bigger player who still has trouble with the physicality of the NBA

  • uhhh pau is a proven all-star in the league. If Gallinari ends up half the player he is, Im sure Knicks players will be satisfied. I know I will.

  • He looks like Dirk Nowitzski to me, he is a little bulkier, might grow to 7 ft tall, his effort is there, needs to be more aggresive on the boards and defend the pf in the NBA. Offensively he is very good and will get better, good pick for potential, now he needs to put it together.

  • è destro nonostante molte volte ama usare la sinistra

  • ma danilo e mancino o destro??? bho cmq forza danilo!!!!

  • Destro, anche se preferisce andare a sinistra... ;-)

  • @rakionman E' ambidestro...

  • he will be an average player...not a superstar as he doesn't score much. However he is just 20 years old so he may get better. For sure a champ like those we had in the 90es coming from Serbia

  • great player...new york doesn't deserve this.

  • i wanna see him do this in NBA not in the euro league, he will be good, but not a superstar that the knicks need

  • Many American fans told the same about Dirk when he came to NBA. We will see.

  • he plays with alot of pump fakes, I dont think its gonna work in the nba. he doesent have what it takes to be a all star but he will be a great role player.

  • he looks like tony parker with a jumpshot 2 me

  • He is like a Mix of Larry Bird and Rick Barry

  • Gallo will be MVP in Nba...He's fantastic player!VAI GALLO.

  • What a band, what a player

  • YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH ma favourite!

  • i hope he can do the same things for the knicks.........

  • What the fuck is this guys height? The Knicks website says he's 6-8, during the summer league game it said 6-10, the New York Daily News says 6-9, what is it?

  • 6-10

  • @ETrane yeah it's 6'10. The guy has grown. The KNICKS website has him at 6'10 now.

  • @ETrane 6'10"

  • he reminds me of toni kukoc.

  • toni kukoc waz a bum, Gallinari not so much

  • wow. he's the only bum ive ever heard of to make millions in the nba, lead his team to three championships, and play consistently well each year. i live in downtown phx and my neighborhood is surrounded by bums. maybe i should phone steve kerr and tell him to set up some interviews with all of those crackheads. stars in the making!!

  • just remember that this dude is only 19... the next dirk nowitski but more athletic.. much more

  • gallinari rulez

  • Gallinari is 2,08,not 2,06...is a power forward that can play in other positions.Kiss your asses american, yiu're very lucky to have Danilo in NY.Let'see

  • hes good but there are still others better ex. lebron james way bigger way more explosive im a knick fan but dont praise him up like he is the best thing to happen to the league when the league is the best thing to happen to him

  • haha he said lebron james... dude didnt even attempt the dunk contest... if you want to give an example say MJ

  • da boy fucking nasty, he is crossing guards and he is freaking 6'9 and only 20 years old, he will be one of the best european players in the history of the game...

    go danillo, ya da man!

  • gallinari and belinelli have more talent than bargnani.

they could play better than him in nba.

gallinari is 2,06 m and 102 kg...but he can do everything...play, guard, pivot ecc...

  • Bargnani has the same talent of Gallinari and his tecnic and style is better. The difference between Bargnani and Gallinari is that the second has DOUBLE the charisma and the strong will of Bargnani. Gallinari is a leader and a winner, when the team need him he is always ready, Bargnani no.

  • i saw the gallinari's matches with milano...i think he is stronger...his tecnic is better...he is quicker...he takes more rebounds...he can play in many positions...bargnani is soft...he can just shot from three point...

  • one word.

    unorthodox.

i admit,i didnt like the pick at first at all,but have tried to remain positive.

now i love the pick and even more enjoy the fact that the Knicks have a player other teams will want to model some players after. he's not like Dirk, Dirk plays extremely stiff and cant bring the ball up the floor even half as well.

Here's to hoping he adds some muscle and stays away from injuries..

  • some of yall are right he does compare alot to dirk but dirk is twice as soft

  • yall knock the euro league but its arguably better than ncaa and you praise the players who come from there like mayo and he was the best in high school but got to college and underperformed so how can you say he wont be good

  • he's to slow i think he plays like dirk nowitski because euroleague do not compare w/t Nba to slow

  • ill take that... lol euro leagues owning the nba rite now buddy

  • he always swings after he dunks... hes going to get killed in the nba. too slow for a small forward.

  • is he any good? i mean nba different than sissy european ball

  • 4:30 is nasty go Gallinari he going to be amazing. GO NY KNICKS!!!!

  • he better be good because i'm a knicks fan i would like to see them make it to the playoffs maybe into the nba finals i thought they should of pick eric in the draft be mike is a good coach and i hope he knows wat they are doing sometimes i wonder wat thomas would do if he was still coach

  • The problem is the three big time ball hogs on the Knicks, Randolph, Curry, and of course Marbury, will take a lot of shots away from Gallinari. The best thing the Knicks can do is get rid of those three and build their offense around this guy. Also to lower the cap so the Knicks can have a legit shot at Lebron in 2010.

  • hes so versatile 10ppg rookie year

  • I also like his shooting style very high release he gets good air under his shots.

  • I was skeptical but I think this kid will be better down the line than Eric Gordon or anyone else available. Good mix here lots of nice plays changed my mind on this guy a bit. I doubt he can be a Dirk type player more like Turkoglu or Kukoc which is ok too.

  • i think he's gonna be the superstar player in the future of ny knicks franchise... two or three years to count..

a combination of manu and dirk it's what i see..

  • I love how all the italians think hes going to b great and they alrdy gave up on Bargnani. Isnt that what they said bout Bellinelli last year? and hes playing even worse than Andrea.

  • don't you understand anything about basket? Belinelli is a normal player and we all know, but Bargnani will grow up year by year and Gallinari will make you shut up

  • or he will make u shut up... i say theres a higher chance of that happening.

  • for Idc62: i 'm ready to bet anything... Gallinari is an incredible player, believe me

  • Last year Bellineli was playing behind Baron Davis, Monta Ellis, Kellena Azuibuike, Stephen Jackson. So you can't judge just one year. Andrea is just a fuckin softy.

  • Gave up on Bargnani? Bargnani is our best player if we are talking about tecnic, he need to improve his soft will, he is young and he can do it. All who think he is a bust will regret your blindness (italians too).

  • he will be good

  • LOL,NeVERMIND, HE's GOOD, GOOd PIcK KNICKS

  • HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DUNK,LOL

  • he's really good. . .way better than bargnani. . .hope he's not like belinelli last year. . .before the draft, i saw highlights from belinelli and he's really3x good! i thought he will have an impact right away but it didnt and it disappoint me. . .im really a huge fan of him. . .hope he will be traded and get the mins. he deserved. . .but for this guy, i think he will rise. . .coach mike D will find a way. . .he loves internat'l players. . .nice stroke man!!!

    Gallo!!!

  • if this nigga aint startin in game 1 i will be surprised but he better be this good against bigger faster more athletic ballers i hope so italy go knicks

  • he's won the Rising Star Trophy,he's been the best player of Italian league... he's ready to be a really big player in NBA.. come on Gallo, sei il nostro orgoglio...

  • the next kobe???????

  • Wow i am really suprised at the potential that this player has. He can dribble and shoot with a hand in his face. The only problems the nba would find are his post game and atheleticism. But overall i am fairly impressed.

  • his postplay is way better than bargnani's.

  • hi everybody..

    i'm from bologna, italy

people that say that gallinari is not a good player, they never see him play..

he played in euroleague and in the italian championship, not in college..

it's a lot different because he competed with players with experience (in virtus bologna,my team, last year played alan anderson and travis best..) and not with young guys..

gallo will be a surprise for all you americans..

remember..he is not bargnani...!!!! gallo is 10.000 times better!!

  • he finishes with two hands. looks to have a beautiful jumper. And all these plays... none are meant for him. Meaning hes creating his own shot which will help him HUGe in the nba.

Knicks fans, i think you guys may have found a gem here.

Another nice point is that hes only 20 with 3 years of pro basketball under the belt (italian league).

I ain't no knicks fan, but im lookin forward to watching this guy play.

  • im not so sure about this.you dont have to be a knick fan to see we've become. a laughingstock. i just dont think we should be gambling on 19 year old euro kids.yeah its a higher level, but i doubt hes better than Beasley whose the same age.i want him to do well, im a knick fan of course, but im so tired of these ignorant ass people saying what a great player he will be. they always say that. they said Andrea Bargnani is the best prospect ever since dirk. the guy averages 3 rebounds game now...

  • whats up bigbuzin555? Knicks Fan here. I do see where you're coming from but I think Gallo has the potential to be a great player. But the dude needs to bulk up BIG TIME. He's got the heart and intensity that other highly rated euros were missing (darko, Bargnani)

Give it some time I think he could end up as a pretty good player.

    I sure hope so :)

  • i hope you are right

  • i can comment YAY!

  • He will be a superstar so early... i have no doubt... he's better than the 3rd 4th and 5th picks...

  • he will be better than Bargnani mosdef

  • HELL YEAH!!! 4:31-4:36

  • better then bargnani in my opinion

  • Welcome to the Knicks!

  • uh lebron going to new jersey if anything and his contract doesnt end until '10....

  • when the knicks get lebron next off season we will be a competitor in the east with him danilo, crawford, and our two beast in the middle. you can sleep on them know but they gonna wake the world ha!

  • Great video. Forza Gallo!

  • 4:42-4:46... nice

  • Now if we could just pry kirk hinrich from the bulls... as a working man's steve nash...

  • i hope this is wat i see in a knicks uniform and not a Bargnani from toronto

  • Lets see him do this in the nba. then i'll be impressed

  • Mama Mia!

  • The Italian Stallion.

    Beast.

  • He's the best under 21 in Europe.

If Rose is the best player in the Draft, Danilo is the second best player.

-Michael Beasley is young for this league.

    -OJ Mayo is undisciplined

-Russell Westbrook is a good player but is not a offensive-player

-Kevin Love is a bad player because he is not a defensive player.

Danilo is a leader, he can play in 3 positions and is perfect in D'Antoni's game.

  • Best Gallo video ever

  • anyone claiming he's a ballhog should probably note his career high is 22 point

  • Actually, his career highs are 27 points in the Euroleague and 29 points in the Italian League.

  • I am actually a fan of Gallinari's team (Armani Jeans) and let me tell you this kid is the real deal. I mean, who else was available for the Knicks that would have better than him? Bayliss? Gordon? Lopez? pssshh. Gallinari is better than all of them.

  • this guy seems nice...the knicks could use him.

  • does this guy know how to pass? knicks are full of hogs, they need playmakers, start by getting rid of their headcase pg.

  • I mean, look at this kid's atheletism, the kid can play! What are you not seeing here? He can dribble, he can shoot, he can drive, he can jump.

  • what a shame!

Ny the city of the statue of liberty, of ellis island this cosmopolitan city (with italians) insults, booes a very very young player came from italy in front of his family!

    NY should be very ashamed.

  • NY fans boo absolutely every1

    balkman and lee

his agent told him that the fans boo every1. they just didnt mind it

so he just didnt care about the boos

this is a perfect chance for him to prove him wrong and for him to show his best

  • well it's not strange.. 90% of americans is ignorant

  • american idiot

  • knicks fans...trust me,he's the best choice that mike d'antoni and his staff could do...he's going to impressionate everybody the next season....with him playoffs are possible for knicks

  • um no they could of got ERIC GORDAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! their gonna regreat that like we did in toronto when we got andrea Bargani that useless homo

  • Problem is, Knicks are already overrun with 1 and 2 guards--they already have too many. They need a big man who can shoot, they don't have one of those. Bottom line--Donnie Walsh knows talent. He says this kid's good, I'll take his word on it.

  • IM A NEW yorker and when they said his name i was tight. But i started feeling bad for him they were ODing on the booing. This vid proved me wrong he's real like someone else said hes like ODOM AND DIRK togethor. I wish he went to a team that could better suit him though. our knicks have to much baggage. We have all this firepower that just cant really mesh and we play no D. I hope he does good under D antoni's fast style

  • the knicks will still get lebron in 2010

  • no sorry, he's going with Jay-z to brooklyn nets.

  • no chance in hell. MSG is so much better and has so much more history than "the brooklyn nets". does lebron have anything to save with the nets? no. does he have somethin to save with the knicks? yes. the knick fans would praise this guy so much and lebron should drool at the idea of saving this franchise. didnt u see him put up 50 points at MSG

  • I think this guy could replace David Lee in the lineup. I don't think anybody is going to take Zach Randolph, but Lee has value, we could package him with somebody like Fred Jones for a point guard like Raymond Felton. This guys jump shot is certainly better than David Lee's and he has potential to get better

  • if i use a 3lb medicine ball and hit it against the wall will it still increase shooting range

  • yes because it utilizes your front delts and your triceps...

  • i like David Lee he has been the only consistent player on the Knicks. I'd keep him and Nate since Nate's has been getting better as he matured. I would trade Zack, Quentin Richardson, Stephon Marbury, Fred Jones, Malik Rose, Jerome James(he is garbage) Mardy Collins(does he know how to do anything right?)

  • only thing i have against this pick is that this is our 7TH FORWARD on the roster right now

  • Danilo è un grande...Migliore italiano in circolazione...

    Portaci in alto Danilo Gallinari....

    Is the big monster....

  • Once i heard "high IQ" i was sold.

  • Things I came to conclude after this video:

He needs to hit the weights a little.

    They allow more contact overseas.

He has good handles for a 6'10" combo forward.

He has the nice euro fakes in the post that I love.

He can become the real deal, like a Turkoglu.

I like his basketball IQ for a 19 yr old or a 30 yr old.

For the haters Euro League consists of the same teams that embarrassed the so tough USA basketball and its more physical with versatile big men(reason why were goin w/ small team)

  • if u do dumbbell bicep curls does it increase range in basketball

  • shooting motion ivolves shoulders and triceps mostly...

  • if i use a 3lb medicine ball and hit it against the wall will it still increase shooting range
