@ibanezbloke Their guitars are optimized to that tuning and if you've played even half step down for years and years you get used to the tension, tightening the strings can throw off your speed and vibrato big time. Try it. Esp. when you tune to D and go back 6 months later, it's like UGH

It really irritates me when, on instructional technique videos, the musicians still insist on going to E flat.....
