btw, the u.s. team has already qualified for the olympics...them and honduras. mexico didn't even get past the group stage much less get one of the two berths. u.s. finished with the most points across all groups and was the only team to not lose a single match.

the U.S. has improved in the past ten years like a wild fire consumes a forest. The U.S. might have what it takes to beat Mexico but only because they focus so much their attention on beating us playing a very rugged style and lots of heart. Mexico still continues to have better talent and skills and the U.S. makes up their lack of talent by playing back with heavy physical contact.

The draft is actually a good idea. MLS can bring the star college players into their league rather than letting other European leagues buy them. It will help make our league better contenders for FIFA World Cup, and to stop being laughed at globally.

Who are you comparing us to? There are 2 countries in the Western Hemisphere that are better at soccer than the US. Brazil, and Argentina. A couple other south American countries are right about even with us, but thats it. Sure Europe is a lot better but they have two main sports in soccer and rugby whereas we have (at least) 4 that come before soccer. Think a little before you disrespect people who don't want to hear your uneducated opinion anyway and learn english too.
