When I import my clip the screen stays blank and it says "failed to texture image" i have tried .mov and .avi but nothing works, my frame rate is also set to the correct setting...help please
When I want to make a new file with Mocha and when I import my clip, it says 'Failed to open the movie file: check that the file is readable.' Are my videos the wrong file type, cause I have MPG's..
@PhoenixFireFx - check your frame rates first when you're matching up the footage, then also be sure your playback head (in After Effects' timeline panel) is set to Zero before pasting the Mocha data in the layer.
i have a quick question which i can't seem to figure out... after i do rotoscoping (after tracking ofcourse) and i'm ready to go into after effects, it doesn't give me the option to export my shape data, only my tracking data, what's going on????
Make sure you have the latest update. The version that ships with CS3 is not fully functional and you need to download an updater from Imagineer Sytems (imagineersystems[dot]com)
mocha uses EDGE detection witch is more powerfull than after effects PIXEL detection. by doing pixels its more unstable and easyer to get a bad track. mocha ftw!

@bingzapboom Mocha for AE is a stand-alone app that ships with AE so I'm not sure if you get it with the trial version or not.

@pxlpainter I bought After Effects CS4 but it doesn't have Mocha. Help?

@ElectricBluePenguin7 You must buy your copy legitimately from Adobe and it ships with Mocha for AE. Contact them if yours did not.

@linuxzs It may have something to do with your video file formatting or codec. That's the only explanation I can think of in your case.

maya tracker FTW ;)

So is Mocha just a better tracker than the one included in AE? I bought AE CS4 and it came with Mocha, but I didn't know what it was for.
