Nice pace (though I think the slower pace that Stephen Tharp uses works nicer), but slow it down a bit until there are no pedal slips. Also, it's highly unlikely Mendelssohn would have had thumb pistons :)
Ah der berühmte alte "optische" Schweller. Kann der auch leiser machen oder besteht der Effekt wirklich nur darin, dass man die Plexiglasscheiben zugegen sieht?
An interesting comment - surely B major is amongst the easiest keys? In C, there is no point from which to 'secure' one's mind to the key, and so it is easier to drift one note either direction. Every note in B major is 'unique' in that way - the scale degree couldn't be on any other key.
Good playing - especially for this difficult work.
Only suggestion - you already play with good facility and technique but I think you can relieve even more tension in your upper arms and elbows - what it is doing now is sometimes allowing the music line to feel too rushed and also having you raise your legs slightly so the pedal lines could even be more legato.
All of this is small stuff - continue with the great work so far.
It's lovely to see that in several of your films there's a moment when you break into a little smile. Keep up the good work!
