Free agency starts Dec. 6 and I think everyone will be signed by Christmas. Rookies (at least the first round draft picks) will definitely be in the game. Can't wait for the trades.

@GRiMxSG The Lakers are my favorite team and always will be, but CP3 is my favorite player in the NBA and Melo is my second favorite. So for me that trade would be amazing.Chris Paul has already said he wants to be traded to NY so the Hornets are just gonna have to take what they can get most likely, which would be Fields, Douglas, and Shumpert + 1st round picks, they said they would start Jack if CP3 left so I guess they don't want Billups.

@jokerj Melo is my favorite scorer other than Durant. CP3, Melo and Amar'e are in my top 10 favorite players (currently). Billups would have to be traded there anyway. Then probably traded to another team for something. Billups deserves to be on a good team though :\. Fields, Douglas, Shumpert and 1st round pick isn't good enough for CP3 at all. It's kind of unfair how players can dictate so much, but what can you do. It makes my team more exciting :D.

@lightsw0rd Billups is still a good point guard and can handle an offense. They don't need CP3. The Knicks need a good big man and better defense. If the Knicks needed a PG it'd probably be Rondo, someone with good defense and can pass the ball well. Billups can still play for probably another 2 years or so. Look at Jason Kidd, he still plays well. Look at Nash, he's 38 and playing really well. CP3 is not needed; anyone who knows basketball would agree.

@GRiMxSG I know Billups can but you know he's still good shooter, but not as he was in his prime, also Jason Kidd and Steve nash? Yes, of course they can play those guys are HOFs but both are one of the best passers in NBA history and they can still assist but they score less, but Billups was never GREAT at assists he was just good As Great I mean like 10 apg+ so yea... BUt they got Shumper on draft 6'6 SG/PG who can play 1st position and play deff there

@lightsw0rd The assist averages aren't a definitive representation of running an offense. The rookie Shumpert is going to have trouble running the offense. Toney Douglas is also more of a 2 guard. Mike Bibby might be able to help because he's a veteran. The offense for the knicks is almost entirely isolation plays for either Melo or Stoudemire.

@GRiMxSG I know but what I'm saying is veterans aren't scoring so much, also Shumper has great defense, is he going to have trouble running the offense? I guess yes, but his quickness and steling ability will get him some easy buckets (if you know what I mean) and also he can shoot the ball pretty well, but lets just wait and watch him develop (or how its spelled)

I'm hoping that Landry Fields numbers go back to what they were before the Melo trade and that Tyson Chandler gets a lot of the garbage points from Offensive rebounds. I never trust rookies until I see them play, so I'm not sold on Shumpert yet.
