before to become a vampire, Dracula was a christian and a crusader,and deffinitely he needs a chapel in his castle.BTW, people, if you read Bram Stoker's novel or saw Francis Ford Coppola's movie, you would remember that he became a vampire exsactly in the castle's chapel.

@juniorjenova That part never took place within the novel. Only in the film. In fact, in the novel he spoke very little about his past and mentions his bloodline as a whole not his personally. You're merely speaking of the film which drew more from his exaggerated historical accuracy's than the book, but only when referring to the battles he fought.

As for needing a chapel, no, he would not, though it'd more than likely be there. He wouldn't find any solace or comfort within those halls.

Why does that vampire quote part of the bible at the end of the game?

Why would a human woman become mankind's worst enemy's bride and bear his child?

The small hints within this one game imply quite a lot about Dracula we'd never know through the other games. That's why Symphony of the Night is so good. It expanded so much on what was originally just a final boss.

@vopop30 It is implied that the chapel is not for redemption,but for the worship of Dracula himself.He qutes the Bible in an attempt by Konami to sound meaningful and interesting. Alucard's mother loved Dracula and for that gave birth to Alucard,nothing more.Good analysis attempted,but the game itself doesn't want to add depth to the characters as a main purpose.

So you wanna break the game huh? It's simple if you beat it once. All you need is the Craesidium weapon, and two Rings of Varda. Once you have them equipped, you have eliminated everything that could possibly be a threat. The Craesidium is dropped by the Schmoo (the ghost looking things) In the Reverse Library and the Ring of Varda is dropped by the Paranthropus (the giant skeletons) In the Colosseum and Reverse outer wall.

I forgot to add that the Ring of Varda will only drop if you beat the game once... also you know the room underneath the Master Librarian? Super Jump and you'll get a life max up. Make him hit the ceiling and he'll drop Dracula's Tunic which is the best armor in the game. Yes even better than the God's Garb those damn Guardians drop in the Reverse Castle.

Nope the Crissaegrim will drop on the first play through it's just a really rare drop. The Ring of Varda will not drop instead you'll get Saphire Rings

this tune had a much more gothic feeling than the rest of the soundtrack. they tailored the rest of this area around the gothic theme too. beautiful stained glass windows and bellowing iron cast bells. this was probably one of the more scenic sections of the game, slowly climbing the tower towards dracula, perching on bells and striking down fallen angels. very entrancing.
