Not only does this show the truly strong bond between pitties and their humans, but it also shows how these loyal, loving dogs enrich the lives of children. Thank you Mark and Jamie for fighting for your pitbull.
And thank you, Jamie, for wearing one of our PITBULLSHIRT babydoll T-shirts. People like you inspire us...and we are proud to see you in it!
BSL effects dogs and people in more ways than you'd ever imagine. She is the reason I started advocating for Pit Bulls. The amazing personalities and beautiful natures of all Pit Bulls is the reason I continue and will never stop fighting for this breed!!
I grew up in Miami Dade County. It's where I met my first Pit Bull and fell in love with the breed. Unfortunately, because her owner was paranoid she'd be seized by the police, that Pit Bull was never socialized with strangers. She was absolutely wonderful with people she knew, but strangers made her nervous. One day, she bit a stranger that cornered her and tried to pet her, she was PTS. Because of BSL, she never got to become the great dog she could have been and her life was cut short.
I think Pit Bulls are the best bread that their is, they are so smart & loving they are amazing! I had one that lived nineteen years I always kept him busy swiming and playing always in fear that if the county saw him they would take him from me and kill him. He lived out his life with me but I always felt bad that I had to live in fear for his life and him not enjoying life past my home. I would love to raise another PITBULL free from opresion!!!!
@sellingmiamihomes I have one at home the same way hiding him from the neighbors and I don't think it's fair he is such a sweetheart. I just moved to Dade County I used to live in Cape Coral and they are allowed. Unfortunately I had to move back and I've had him since he was 9 weeks now he is almost 2 years in April, but I desided I would risk it but never get ride of him. I hope we win this and they stop that stupid law.
How long do we have to get to the 5,000 signatures? I posted mine on face bookand my friends from Miami are all signing. I also have a Pitbull and I want him here with me, good luck for all of us!
Brilliant the world needs more people like you, we are having the same trouble here in London I have 2 staffies and hate the way people cross the road or even walk in it rather than walk past our 2 doggies, keep up the great work

My two dogs, Faith and Laura are very loving and social pets. They are pit bulls and we support the proposed legislation.
