  • i love how they just roll with the new title "the beach boys"

  • where's part 5 why did it get deleted

  • YOU DON'T STILL WANT TO BE A DENTIST

  • All of the recording scenes obviously arn't their real voices it sounds exactly like Mike Love's voice

  • part 5 got deleted

  • the acting and script is pretty whack but the moment that music cuts in.........

  • the dude playing brian makes him look like an asshole... brians so sweet and nice. annoying

  • 200 dollars back then would be 800 today!!! :)) So the boys just make 800 dollars on selling to Capital. Man, talk about spending money for Friday night. I would invest it now now now!!! :)) lol

  • The guy who plays Mike Love looks like Niles from "Frasier".

  • hes not playing the snare right lol

  • "You Might be on to Something"--- that has got to be the biggest understatement of all time

  • That actor is a total ringer for Mike Love! Fabulous!

  • Murry is the ultimate buzzkill!!

  • so surfin was their first song.

  • so surfin was their first song.

  • @ChrisisBass13 yea. Surfin Safari was their first published single

  • There were roomers that Brian was suing Katy Perry for her "California Gurls" song.

  • @redsoxfan426

Not true. It's not like they'd have a case anyway.

  • @AnAmericanFamily She was being sued, but not by Brian. Brian and the other guys like Katy and that song. She was being ordered to pay royalities, but nothing ever came out of it

  • @redsoxfan426 Not true at all. Brian and Mike thought the one line was kind of a rip off ("I wish they could all be California girls"), but they had NO intention of suing at all cause they knew they wouldn't have a case and they loved the song anyway!

  • @redsoxfan426

Yep, but the rumors were proved to be untrue.

  • @redsoxfan426 nah it wasn't brian it was mike love of course mr douche bag himself all because of katie's lyrics and melody which ws borrow from the actual song

  • @redsoxfan426 The company that Murry sold the BBs publishing rights to back in '69 were the ones that sued Katy Perry.

  • not accurate at all. Brian Wilson asked Al Jardine to come back and Al and David Marks were in the band together for a while before david left. Also, they were completely pissed that their name was changed.

  • 5:00 always reminds me of the story about how the engineers at western recorder rigged up a phony mixing console for murray to fiddle with at the sessions; then they would do the real mixing later...sad, really.

  • They weren't pleased to be called the Beach Boys - They tried to get it changed back if my BB knowledge is correct.

  • I'm really impressed by Kevin Dunn as Murry.

  • Al's lucky they let him back in. I wouldn't have. But, I hear the other kid was a real pain in the ass, so I can see why Al's return was a welcome event.

  • lol David Marks a 9:34 mowin the lawn, I think he is doing that today now, lmao!

  • ouch sickburn

  • Lol kissing all the girls!

  • wait a second:

Brian wasn't a minor in 1962! He would have been twenty by that point!

  • They lied about his age.

  • So Murray screwed over Mike too lol...he deserved it. ... but Brian didn't deserve it.

  • @belladeballe Mike deserved to be paid for his contributions. A court agreed with him.

  • @TheBeachboys4ever I suppose so where Murray was concerned, but way I see it Mike L still is no hero because of the way he treated Brian.

  • @belladeballe Brian always speaks highly of Mike and voted with him in the dispute with Alan over who had the rights to the Beach Boys name. If Brian is OK with Mike, I don't seen any reason why I shouldn't be.

  • GREAT!!!

  • well finish what you started, i know you have to do it in 10 min increments. keep em coming

  • what so hard about putting the whole movie on this shit...damn!

    DAMN!

  • Harder than you might think.

You can't upload an entire hour and a half movie onto YouTube; you have to divide it into sections of 10 minutes or less.

To do that, you have to take the movie and divide it into those sections in video software, and re-render them as separate video files.

The software I use, Sony Vegas, for some reason takes a really, really long time to render clips of any decent quality. The whole process is an arduous, gigantic pain in the ass.

  • @AnAmericanFamily I totaly relate to your issue with certian people asking why a movie isn't in one piece on youtube. I upload stuff from time to time and know all about the painstaking process of cutting the film into sections and then rendering and uploading. I just want to say thanks for this upload...Finished watching the Beatles Anthology and now moving into the Beach Boys.

  • @AnAmericanFamily thanks for the hard work.

  • Thank you so much for posting! Looking forward to the rest!
