@AdamCole28 skill is one thing and yes skill to the hard work but the end result in music is all I judge by, when deciding if I like it or not. Besides, Hocico still had to think of the lyrics, the programs, the melody and harmony, the whole song, and they do brilliant work.

So don't discount them just because they used more technology.

Skinny Puppy are inventors. Hocico rank somewhere in the middle of their followers. If you are into techno and like to wear black lipstick, Hocico might be just the ticket, but there is not much that they have added to the genre.

Yeah, maybe, but if it wasn't for bands like Hocico I'd never discover ebm nor dark electro and such. When Skinny Puppy, Nitzer Ebb and Frontline Assembly were at there best I was listening to Ace of Base etc. Now people listen to RNB and dance music and if they are to discover how great ebm and "industrial" is they'll need something to relate to. Something like "it's like rave music but with distorted angry vocals".

Plus Hocico is great for clubs ;)
