Hi!

The Krucker's handle nicely in the sea. Totally stable and fast up on the steps. I didn't have any problems at all during my many t/o's and landings. Recomended!

That was my old trike. Did around 50mph and had a total of 44 liters of gasoline.

My new has a range of about 400miles on one tank.

Not sure what you ask for. Flies at 80kmh, burns approx 12-13 litres/hr with the Rotax503

The drag in the floats demands more power to maintain the same cruise as on wheels. 1-2 litres/hr more on floats, I guess...

FIB'en er vel forsåvidt tryggere da den flyr saktere og tåler mer "uvørne" landinger. Men jeg hadde foretrukket flottører grunnet hastigheten. Det er mye motstand i båten på FIB'en. Et annet alternativ er Ramphos som har en båt i hardplast. Denne har en mye høyere hastighet. Det finnes et par slike i Norge.

Starter med maks angrepsvinkel for å løfte flottørene opp i plan. Så nøytaliserer jeg vingen for minst mulig motstand. Ved akseptabel hastighet skyver jeg bøylen frem og er i lufta:-)

Yes, I think many float (and boat) fitted trikes is to slow. I think the Aeros 14,5 I fly now, would do well on floats too. The Ramphos amphibious trikes cruise at 90kmh, that's OK. 60-70 kmh as with the huge wings is not OK in my opinion...
