Vincent is a character that conveys despair, loss, and grief to me convincingly. He's kind of become an avatar of despair and wrath. I can see him existing long after all the other characters have died.
This is actually quite sad compared to the original version, which was supposed to be creepy. It shows the tragic character Vincent is more than anything else.
Final Fantasy VII was my childhood. I never played any game more than I did this one, and I've never gotten so much emotion and feeling out of something like this. It's great. Really reminds me of being a kid, and makes me wanna go back and play it again.
This is an excellent remake of this song. still remember being upset because it took me forever to say the right things to vincent to get on my team and this song was stuck in my head for a long time. Great job!
This is stunning. Vincent remains my favorite fictional character ever since I first played the game 12 years ago and I have been longing for a remaster of this tune. You captured it perfectly! Please keep up the wonderful work *claps*
I can only describe this song as 'eternally eerie'. It reminds me of someone walking through darkened catacombs that haven't been explored in a thousand years.
@3LiterProductions Well, I don't think Vincent was down there for a thousand years, and Neibelheim (or however its spelled) was only abandoned for about five or so years since Sephiroth flipped out and burned it down. Maybe the catacombs under the mansion were older than the building above, so perhaps. Anyway, the song is very good at conveying a creepy abandoned atmosphere which was perfect for meeting a creepy pale guy in a box.
@AgeofAganor Well it was hyperbole of course, but the story of Vincent is that he was unable to stop Hojo from creating Sephiroth, which was about 30 years (give or take) before Final Fantasy 7, as Sephiroth was created when he was concieved, oh, and not to mention Hojo did some pretty odd stuff to Vincent as well.
Absolutely incredible. When I first played this game I chalked an extra 3 hours to my total game time because I would just go back to the little hallway and listen to this music over and over again. This version is beautifully done. If I could do more than just thumbs up and favorite it I would.
i feel like im in a coffe shop sitting by the window while its raining right now...

Good work! Beautiful! Normally, I don't like remakes that much, but this one is well done. I hope you keep up your good work!
